KW would have been ripped to shreds here if he had signed OV to that deal. Jaret Wright signed for more money than a majority here thought he was worth. Again, KW would have been ripped. Randy Johnson said no. That's beyond KW's control. This whole thread has been one shot at KW after another and I'll tell ya, he did not screw up by not signing Wright to that contract.

In other words, I offer you a job for $150K a year for 3 years .... but, it's payable at at $10 a week until the 3 years is up, then I'll pay you off at $10k a year until you are paid off .... zero interest, of course. Yet, you asked for $150k per year salary. I offered it to you, but if you turn it down, you are a greedy SOB.

Agreed. Conversely, I don't think we are getting an accurate description of what's going on with the Iraqi people. I have listened to a few local servicemen that say the media is neglecting to report that the Iraqis are generally very glad we are there. I think the uniting of Shia, Kurds and Iragi Turks into a single party for the elections is a sign of that.
