Well, here's one fan that would give a huge :fyou to Ozzie Guillen. I lost all respect for him when he made the comment that ballplayers don't owe fans anything during The Strike talks. Damn! ... We got rid of " :fyou Jerry Manuel" and we haven't even hired him yet but he's gonna be " :fyou Ozzie Guillen". Killa, you're amazing dude. But he's not wrong. I remember Ozzie saying that, and being pissed at him. Mrs. Al Lopez's Ghost still hasn't forgiven him. No, he's not wrong.

I was in a league run via the internet for awhile. It was pretty good. But I had been involved in other leagues for a few years and got burned out on them. OOTP was a pretty good game, though.

That's for sure. That is a very justifiable rant, imho. The educational system is this country is broken and the more that the federal government gets involved, the worse it gets. Even the states seem to screw things up. This should be handled on more of a local, even down to the neighborhood, level.

Perhaps the father didn't have any visitation rights, or the mother had a restraining order to keep the father away.... then Dad hears Mom is in jail and starts asking about the kid..... don't be so quick to judge before you know the circumstances.

All I can say about this cheating question is this: Men (and women.... men have to have someone to cheat WITH) usually find someway of justifying their actions, but in the long run find out, justifiably so or not, that it's not worth it. The best bet is to just end the relationship before crossing that bridge.

A "typical" Cub fan is one that will accept the team when it sucks and relish the image of the "lovable losers". A "typical" Cub fan goes to the games, but doesn't know jack s*** about the baseball. A "typical" Cub fan thinks that urinal on the north side is a great place to watch a baseball game. A "typical" Cub fan hates the Cardinals because they've been ... well ... so historically successful. If you read the posts on this board, you'll see I'm one of the few that are giving the Cubs their due. Congrats on their successful run at the NL Central crown and enjoy the playoffs.
