With the realative ages and salaries of the players we have, do we really have much more than two years that we can afford all of these guys? Unless attendance explodes over the next two years, we are most likely going to have a very different team in 2k5 or 2k6 anyways... If they keep playing like they did in KC, attendance is going to implode, not explode.

If I remember correctly, the park is positioned as it is because they wanted to maintain it being on the corner of 35th and Shields. There was also some talk at the time that the prevailing winds would be blowing out. I've lived in KY since 1976, don't get to the park very often and may be totally off base here. If so, I apologize in advance.

There is an extreme amount of panic going on in here. However, we need to beat these teams. Someone has got to get a big hit, make a key play or something. We just need a spark, then the fireworks will go off.
