More from our good pal Kenny Rosenthal
Gammons digs up some pretty good info, if you don't listen to any of his opinions.

Todays Game
I hope Bartolo just has it on cruise control and will turn it up a notch when the season starts. He's been roughed up his last 2 outings.

The clusterfuck begins
When the schedule start piling up with few offdays, we may need a 12th pitcher. A lot depends on how many innings our starters eat up, and a lot depends on if JM will let them eat up innings.

We'll listen to intelligent so-called experts.

Trib writers display AL picks
I know what you'd do too. You'd trade Carlos Lee.

Be Mr. Rogers' Neighbor
The reason the sCrubs are hyping Baker, is because, basically, that's all they have done to improve a 95 loss team.

Is A Free Agent Pitcher Needed?
I don't think we need another FA starter. We have plenty of depth, I believe. Of course, all of them in the minors are question marks. Even Josh Stewart, he's only 20 years old. Does he have the maturity to handle it?

Jeff Pearlman called us morons
There's exceptions to every rule. But, overall, and more importantly recently, the Sox have been terrible while playing out west.

Former Sox pitcher Sean Lowe
Sorry, I didn't realize Herges had been brought up in another thread when I posted this.

wright has a setback
Saying that a prospect should not listen to his coaches is a rediculous statement. These kids are wanting to make the big time. The coaches are baseball lifers, professionals hired by the organization to specifically teach these kids how to play baseball. You can't blame the kids. The Nardi fiasco is one youcan blame directly on Jerry Manual. He selected his pitching coach. As for the guys currently in the minors. most of them have been trained and taught by current Sox pitching coach Don Cooper. Did he screw all these kids up? I really don't think so.

Worst White Sox
If I remember correctly, the proposed deal would have been Ventura for Bonds. But, looking back, JR wouldn't pay Robin so you know he never would have paid Bonds enough to keep him.

Jeff Pearlman called us morons
We haven't won on our west coast trips since the early 90's, I would venture to guess. I didn't even consider any of that stuff when I said that. I was strictly basing that statement on the talent of our team. I was only saying that west coast trips have always proven to be difficult for the Sox. I wouldn't ever want to be in the AL west.

We're Going to Kansas City....
I hope you are wrong about Bmr.... We need a good start. It's very important to this team.

Sports Illustarted Sucks
So is picking them in baseball .... Giants, Cards, Twins & Angels last year. Who woulda thought.....?
-
Former Sox pitcher Sean Lowe
Lowe must really be struggling if he can't make the Royals staff. Also another note, and this one makes no sense to me...... Hmmm... wonder why they released him, and should we sign this guy or claim him off of waivers?

Holy Christ!!!!!
Why are you people still lining Dollar Bill's pockets? Geez, you couldn't get me to pay for a Hawk ticket if I lived across the street from the UC. And I grew up a Hawk fan. But this is just sadistic, IMHO.

System of the Down
These are all valid points that should be taken into consideration, even if you support the war. There can definitely be backlash in any or all of these areas.

Thanks apu
What kind of twisted thinking is this?

Bulls Win Today
Word is out that the Bulls have decided to trade Jay Williams in the off season. Crawford has clearly won the point guard battle and JW is not happy with the Bulls system.

Anyone Here Like Folk Music?
I wouldn't call it folk, but you'd have to include Crosby Stills Nash & Young in the catagory of great protest music.

Trib writers display AL picks
We've got to win at least 15 out of the first 22. We play KC, Detroit, Cleveland and Baltimore. We cannot start off at 11-11 against these team or we might as well hang it up.

Im really excited about our pitching staff
110 wins? That's asking a bit much. I just hope they win at 1 more game than anyone else in the AL Central..... and then 11 more.

Story on ESPN.com
I think Buck is going to whip that Texas team into something good. If they can get any kind of pitching, they're going to be there in the West. I'm in agreeance with you Ian. Buck will do a good job down there. If they are healthy, they may just win the division, although I'm picking Seattle. Showalter is like Billy Martin.... Good for one or two years, then loses the team because he's a control freak.

Daubach
Daubach and Loiaza were added to the 40 man roster.

Confirmed: Sox will carry three catchers
I hear they can't send Olvio down because their afraid the French will veto the move. i know HSC would veto it What a coincidence.... When I think of HSC, I think "French".
