I predict that the bullpen, in general, will come around and be one of our major strengths. Koch, Flash, White... all of them. There are some quality pitchers in that pen.

Even if EL craps out in June, he's helped us get through the first part of the season, when most of our hitters seem to struggle. But, I sure hope this Loiaza is the Loiaza we see all year long... and then some.

And all this time, I assumed he was a fan of Tim Brando...... Let's hope this granny gets Carlos out of his slump, no matter how lucky he got or how badly he approached the plate appearance. Sometimes, that's all it takes.

I was surprised to see Lee Stevens down there too. I want to see Danny come back strong as ever, but Stewart has done a pretty damn good job so far. He had one hanging curve against the Tigers that cost that game. Other than that, he's been very solid.

At least from what I've heard and read about him. That goes a long way in my book. In fact, it's something this team needs more of. See Rios' blunder Tuesday night for an example.

This is one thought that has crossed my mind many times since the start of spring training games. Someone has a 0-fer or a pitcher gets roughed up, and it's a freaking disaster. "Trade him" or "Cut him" or "He sucks" or "f*** Kenny for trading for him".

yea but our team cant play small ball, we are not fast enough and we are to stupid on the base paths. We have enough guys with decent speed... and maybe, just maybe, Backman would teach some of thiese guys how to use their brains when they are on base.

Off days suck... unless the team needs one. But as for being a fan,. you want your daily dose of baseball.

I hope they are giving Miles a fair shot down there. The guy seems to know how to actually play baseball, and that means he's got something on about 97% of the rest of them.

We should be about 8-2 as of now, instead of 6-4. That Royals series was terrible. I hope those 3 games don't come back to haunt us in Oct. Since then, we've been playing well, but then again, look at our competition. We still have a lot of work to do to prove we are as good as we think we are.

its so good to see cal make a come back.. wish it was with us though..........i hated to see him leave and i know a lot of the guys in the pen liked him a lot too...........hope he can have a solid season this year.............if anyone deserves it, its him....... go cal...........
