Did anyone else watch the SC on Sunday night, where Berman botched the plays of the week and said "I need to run that again." And they went to a commercial and came back and tried doing it again, and he did totally different catch phrases

I don't think people understand how good these players are. And stay at home defensemen are some of the best puckhandlers around, they have to quickly get control of the puck and then find a quick pass as soon as the puck touches their sticks. Bottom line, Sweet Goal!

I'm not voting, however, there are some good things and bad things about the NHL. There are too many penalties, which disrupt the flow of the game, halt any form of defense, and take away the toughness that was once part of the NHL and goalies shouldnt be restricted from playing the puck, that is very lame. However, I like the elimination of two line passes. I like the rule that when a team ices the puck they cannot make a change. I like smaller goalie pads. Scoring is up, which is nice. And its on TV more often, so I'm happy with the new NHL to a certain extent, but as a traditionalist, I would much rather have the old NHL.

While it's not that impressive, considering his linemates, Arny has 14 points, I'm ok with that. Bell and Calder are around that also, not too bad.

That was a great game from start to finish, however, yesterday's Caps/ Lightning game was just as good, and the game tying and game winning goals by Ovechkin were outstanding. He's hands down the rookie of the year, no questions. He's overshadowed by Crosby and "the Next One" status that he's quietly becoming a superstar.
