  2. QUOTE(kapkomet @ Jun 16, 2005 -> 05:44 PM) The Rangers will get Crosby. So you think it's gonna be fixed to??
  3. QUOTE(AirScott @ Jun 16, 2005 -> 04:53 PM) now that they have a cap, the only things left to do to fix hockey are smaller goalie pads, bigger ice, more area behind the net, and to contract unnecessary teams (Florida Panthers, Atlanta Thrashers, and Anaheim Mighty Ducks to name three. seriously, do you need 2 hockey teams in the Los Angeles area?). I agree with bigger ice and MAYBE the goalie pads. A bigger net is beyond stupidity, and I don't see why we have to mess with a bigger redline. We played 75+ years with one and now it needs to go? I don't like it. I COMPLETELY agree with the contraction but the teams that need to go are FLA, Atlanta, ANA, Columbus and Nashville. These teams leave the talent pool very watered down. But It will NOT happen and I agree with kapko that Florida and Atlanta make the playoffs. Barring injuries to Luongo, Heatley, Stefan, and Bouwmeester. Also, I think my Blackhawks may challenge for the 8 spot. Keith, I'll almost guarantee that either LA, NYR, or Toronto snag Crosby. Reason, I think the NHL will do everything possible to have on of these top market teams get him and market him right away. Basically to the whole hockey situation :fyou Bettman.
  4. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jun 15, 2005 -> 01:01 PM) Yes, instert a comma after Mike, as in the Angels manager. Too bad for Mike, Majewski shut them down. My bad, didn't mean to be a jerk
  5. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jun 15, 2005 -> 09:07 AM) Too bad for Mike Majewski shut them down. Isn't it Gary? But anyway, I never really liked Brendan Donnelly always thought he was kinda cocky s... :finger
  6. Personally I don't think Omar is worth what we'd give up and worth his salary. I just dont see a quality baseball out of him much longer and I think he has diminished range. I could very well be wrong and that's just IMO.
  7. LoL, I just packed away some baseball cards and I came up with some from 96-98, Well Albert Belle of course Tony Phillips Darren Lewis Tony Pena (yes THAT Tony Pena) Chad Kreuter Robert Machado Chuck McElroy Charlie O'Brien Brian Simmons and the Pre-Valentin Porno stache Don Slaught. I have 6 of those players autographs and I'm not sure if I should be proud or embarassed. Anyway, those teams were brutal.

QUOTE(winodj @ Jun 13, 2005 -> 09:21 PM) I'm not sure exactly what the protocol is, but I think an apology for Celine Dion and Anne Murray is required for entry. Don't forget those crappy actors on the saturday kids TV shows. God I hated those actors...
  9. QUOTE(KevHead0881 @ Jun 13, 2005 -> 03:03 PM) Nothing beats Jesus Pena in my book. Damn that was mine, but then again, Mario Valdez and Bill Simas also work for me.

  11. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Jun 12, 2005 -> 08:12 PM) Gambled this weekend and picked up the new Jack Johnson and the new Oasis. Johnson is ok, you definately gotta be in the mood, as all his stuff is so similar. It's fine as background of you wanna relax and jump on line for a while. I would have thought Oasis got a new singer. He sounds so different, but it's a welcome change. I'm diggin' the new record a lot so far. The new JJ is definitely good music for summer, as is his older stuff too. Just takin a nap on a float in my pool is perfect for that music. I'll have to check out the new Oasis though, I heard it was just average by some other people.
  12. QUOTE(chimpy2121 @ Jun 12, 2005 -> 12:05 AM) I also heard he got 2 points deducted for a headbut. Yes, and he had one counted low blow, he tried to break McBride's arm, and punch McBride low again but they were locked up and the ref didn't see it.
  13. You're opinion seems correct, and if that's the case, he should hit a few HRs in the next few weeks and then go on a HUGE slump...
  14. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Jun 11, 2005 -> 11:42 PM) Hmm... Maybe I'll be home to make it up there... Do I still count as a kid for $1 seats? You could pass
  15. I thought Tyson was gonna knock McBride down in the fourth round but McBride held on for longer and basically outlasted Tyson and got in a few good shots late in the 5th.
  16. QUOTE(ScottPodRulez22 @ Jun 10, 2005 -> 10:56 PM) I agree if him, buehrle, and hermy get in i will be happy. I think Hermanson will be a "STRETCH". I just don't see him getting any love from the manager...
  17. Maybe Brandon Arroyo was on the mound He got dominated by the Cubs today...
  18. QUOTE(robin_ventura_eternal @ Jun 10, 2005 -> 11:23 PM) have faith in the timo. in game 7 of the world series this year, he will hit another bloop single to win the game with 2 out in the 9th. then you will have to eat your words. haha! If Timo Perez plays in game 7 of the World Series with anyone, that team has probelms, and lord I hope it's not with the Sox.
  19. QUOTE(robin_ventura_eternal @ Jun 10, 2005 -> 11:17 PM) its timo, baby. dont hate. Is this willie harris??? In all seriousness, Timo Perez SUCKS.
  20. QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Jun 10, 2005 -> 11:16 PM) I like to fish and dig holes with my golden shovel.
