The 1908 chant is only something I'd only consider pulling out if the Cubs are kicking our ass and we want to shut up the Cubs fans who would be celebrating. So in other words, it won't be needed .

Great breakdown, although Ramirez hurt his back so we'll see if he plays all 3 games. I agree, Sox take 2 of 3 as Saturday is a win and we'll split the 2 great pitching matchups.

I took some pics of the cloud formations in my area this afternoon....got some great results. There were a few cells in my immediate area, but we didn't get a lot of actual rain from this. Some of the pictures between the high clouds and dark clouds and sunset and such are really good though, I'll post them if I remember to eventually.

In fun news, San Diego pitcher Mike Thompson make his major league debut at Arizona. The Padres offense did a nice job helping him out, scoring 9 runs in the top of the first inning. EDITOR'S NOTE: The Padres bullpen has exploded, and the Padres 9 run 1st has been all but washed out by an 8 run Arizona 6th. It's now 11-10 Padres over Arizona going to the 7th inning Also, in fact, the Padres led this game 10-0 after an inning and a half. Amazing.

The pitching matchups and such set this series up so that we'd be able to win 2 out of 3 as long as we split the first 2, so well done boys and bring the series home tomorrow night Javy. Tonight we followed the formula perfectly, keep it close between the starters, get to the strong part of our bullpen by getting 6 or 7 out of the starter, pound their bullpen. Great job.

I have no problem with him at all except when he's doing play by play, in which case I want to poke my eyes out with a fork and rip my ears off with my bare hands.

Here in Aurora, the temperature went from 71 at 5:30 to 58 at 6, and now the storm part of the storm is underway. Wow, that storm sounds really bad in Chicago, hope everybody is ok.
