Meanwhile to reduce the acquisition of Greinke to "just 10 games of Greinke" ignores the fact that in a playoff series you completely revamp the outlook for your team when you can run Greinke/Sale/Peavy out there in each series you get into.

The Sox will look to make upgrades to try to take themselves to being an elite playoff talent -- but that won't come at the expense of Viciedo.
