than he gets aced, that's what happens when you foul off the hanger.

Man colson just needs to learn to sit back a bit more.

that was a great swing from sam.

boom! or just rip one into the gap, good job kid.

Good AB. This guy will walk you if you are patient.

Good lord.

Well executed by them but also lets just get out of here with minor damage.

Great piece of hitting what can you even do.

Once again enjoying the opponent's broadcast and they are complimentary to Sox.

Teel gonna need a couple weeks to ramp up to swinging in anger. Tough to come back in the heart of the season after missing pretty much your entire spring.

We sure have gotten some tough velocity on SP lately.

I'm oddly confident in Burke right now. He's seen a stuff uptick. If he can control his walks tonight he'll put up some good innings.

Taking a HS player with Lackey and Roch on the board based on a "timeline" would be the dumbest possible decision and one that could set the franchise back 5-6 WAR a season. Emerson is in no way a lock to be a star, in fact of the three at the top he's probably 2x more likely to bust as a HS kid with a long development path ahead. You don't take a HS kid here unless he's like Bryce Harper. He ain't that.

I musta got asked for a loosie 20 times walking around inner harbor.

I'd have to be privy to Ishbia's instructions to have a better opinion but if they are going to have to add payroll, either through a new CBA or a new energy from ownership, then there's a 3rd starter and two good bullpen pieces right there, or two good starters even. If we have 60 million to play with in the offseason I'd rather spend that than deplete the lower minors of position players. Quantity has a quality of its own imo and we have some decent quantity.

We'd be fools to give up anything for rentals. I guess after the draft if you think you've got some depth in the lower minors at certain spots it might make sense to target some guys with cheap control but even than what you said. Sox gotta make sure they aren't in a situation like last rebuild where you go from a top 5 system to a bottom 5 system basically over night with graduations into MLB.

I was at Camden back in like 2011 when I was still pretty young and had a lot more hair up front. Was an absolute blast. That was Viciedo's debut at 3B. 22s of PBR were $4 bucks from the outfield stand and Camden def lived up to the hype, a great "open air" stadium is how I'd describe it, it feels like an organic part of the neighborhood rather than how Rate feels sorta just plopped down with some parking lots.

Looked to me like he just rushed the motion and was transferring before he actually caught it.

Well we pissed this one away, outside Vargas nobody played a great game imo.

great AB.

Hey defense! Time to take the lead.

He's been on that outside edge all inning, you'd have thought sam would be ready.

least we turned lineup over if nothing else.

He owes Teel a steak dinner.

Good lord he's fucking awful. If he can't even pitch in the 6th just release him and eat the money.
