This s*** is half on Rodon and half on TA.

QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 28, 2017 -> 07:25 PM) He's so clearly not. Bad hands, inaccurate arm and poor fundamentals/instincts 100k posts and you still know less than most. Congrats.

QUOTE (maxjusttyped @ Jun 28, 2017 -> 07:24 PM) A big league SS needs to make that play. The swag is gone, man.

This is quintessential Rodon. Awful play by TA.

Yikes.

QUOTE (Scoots @ Jun 28, 2017 -> 07:20 PM) Who do you suppose that Cubs fan in the front row is rooting for? His accountant.

He Gawn!

The first arm side fastball miss! Take a drink.

Let's do this!

QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Jun 28, 2017 -> 08:05 PM) A ten minute late start changes that? Haha I can't do time zones apparently.

QUOTE (flavum @ Jun 28, 2017 -> 06:45 PM) 7:15 first pitch oh for FFS I was really hoping to kill the last two hours at work with this game, darn.

QUOTE (Dam8610 @ Jun 28, 2017 -> 04:46 PM) So you're saying it's possible to perform poorly in the minors at 22 and still wind up being a good or even great player? Good to know. I love these logical fallacies. I see them all the time on the Bulls RealGM board. Hey, look, one time a player came out of nowhere to be really good so that must mean this guy that also sucks will become just like that one guy that one time! DA does it constantly here. So does Hawk.

No reason to panic but if he's hitting 210 in Kannapolis this time next year he's hardly a prospect. Next year is the make or break. If he sticks at catcher he wont' have to hit much more than 220/300/400 in the bigs anyways.

Most excited I will probably be all season other than when Lopez and Moncada come up later in the summer. I know I'm going to be annoyed with his arm side command problems though.

If anything it just goes to show how much weaker pitching is in the NL overall than AL. He goes to the NL and sees a 20% or so pump in his offensive production. The braves also seem to realize Tyler has a reverse platoon slit and is much better against RHP than LHP. And lastly they are keeping him fresh, as he's only on pace to start about 100 games. I never properly valued Tyler's defensive contributions but my god the hand wringing over at SSS about letting him go was absurd. Yea it was in hindsight the wrong move but come on the Sox have made much bigger mistakes.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 28, 2017 -> 12:22 PM) Don't know. No. Poor man's Brett Gardner is probably his best case. Nothing like Eaton.

I'm too lazy to look but is this the dreaded "jones fracture" that Durant, Embiid and Caris Lavert all had?

what happened i started playing video games

QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Jun 27, 2017 -> 10:12 PM) Frazier had the best at bat but Davidson hung in there real strong. Abreu looked bad and Avi is Like one for 21 Davidson missed a couple fastballs down Broadway.

yikes, have to make contact there.

man he cannot just catch up to anything above his belt. that was a meatball.

I think he's going to hit a GS here on a meatball.

another change he would have struckout Todd imo, if it was in the zone, I wonder what Hawk is thinking.

QUOTE (bmags @ Jun 27, 2017 -> 09:59 PM) Nice call for a change up from Sanchez beautiful.

what a changeup, wow.
