  1. Lol that 2011 season was supposed to be competitive. They had just added Rios and spent big on Dunn to try to solve some of their problems from 2010. And even with that, as soon as something iffy happened while trying to stretch him out in 2012, they tried to stick him in the bullpen, and the one who said no is Chris Sale. If he'd gone along with Kenny and the management, they'd have made him a permanent closer in 2012 and he'd never have left that role.
  2. Oh come on I was watching other stuff you stop this
  3. Now the question is will they let Berrios settle in or keep pressure on him.
  4. You might have to turn over a table and cut up some jerseys to be allowed to.
  5. I'm ok with this. Who knows whether there will be another injury before Moncada comes back.
  6. Sure Josh Harrison deserves to be released, but he had a good batting practice today, so let's send down Mendick and leave Moncada unavailable the next 3 days.
  7. What in the world do they think will change between now and the start of the game tonight? Come on someone after in charge and make a bloody decision.
  8. The White Sox won their last series against KC...the prior 5 series with them either KC won the series or it was a split. So this is absolutely true in recent history, and all those games with KC are a big part of this supposedly easy schedule. Handle the AL Central like they did Detroit in the last series and the schedule looks easy, but that's literally what the schedule strength translates to.
  9. There are 13 games left against Detroit, 11 games against KC, 7 games a piece against Baltimore and Oakland. There are 16 games left against Minnesota and 14 games against Cleveland. That easy schedule is literally "Win against the AL Central and Baltimore this week".
  10. While the Blue Jays are tough and the Orioles may be tougher than expected, the White Sox are not only playing good offensive baseball right now but they are also getting an absolute ton of hits falling and making it through the infield. Perhaps the Blue Jays pitching deals with us again, but I would not go so far as to say that I would be surprised by any result of this series.
  11. We've repeatedly seen this team losing games this year while playing a man short, and obviously needing that help. Hell, last night - it might not have mattered, but pinch hitting for Harrison in the 9th would have been excellent.
  12. Kyle Tucker hit a shot that would have been a 2 run home run in the cell (405 feet, xBA= .920), and the White Sox’s last 2 runs only existed because of an exploded bat and an extremely weird bounce off the LF wall.
  13. (note the post dates). His fastball last night was about 1.5 mph below his season average despite the extra time off, that will be worth watching.
  14. Well Thank God he has no recent record of elbow issues.
  15. And the White Sox got no lucky runs today? From a bat that exploded and a SS giving up a hit while trying not to die?
  16. I will express surprise that we aren’t seeing Leury here.
  17. Can’t. Don’t want to put a guy on the IL for 10 days if he might come back in 7.
  18. They’re seriously going to pitch Lambert, Velasquez, and Kelly all in this game, aren’t they?
  19. Lambert should have finished this game but for some reason he can only go 1 now?
  20. I would like to note that being down 3, having no off days coming up, a bullpen about to shrink, having guys in the bullpen who can throw 3 innings, and using them for 1….is silly.
  21. Kopech’s average fastball tonight is 1.5 mph slower than his season average so far.
