So, for what it's worth, both Senator "Worst in the world" and the White House have already stated that they agree 100% with the idea that the next President will be rapidly tested by America's enemies. Of course, they said those things when they thought it would help Senator McCain, but that's a side note.

I have absolutely no urge to go see this movie. I've lived through the nightmare that is the last 8 years already, why do I want to review how we got there?

So there's one piece of data that's simply missing there. What percentage of the loans that the GSE's gave out were ARM's? The %age of mortgages being bought by the GSE's compared to the other banks declined dramatically as those types of mortgages took off.
