  1. Which player was better in 2020, Dalton or Trubisky, in various stats. Rating: Trubisky Completion %: Trubisky Yards per attempt: Trubisky Yards per catch: Trubisky TD %: Trubisky Int %: Dalton Sacks: Trubisky
  2. Compared to his best years in Cindy, the last couple years his Int% has increased by about 66%, his TD% has dropped by 1/3, his yards per attempt last year was the worst of his career, and in 2019 it was as low as it was when he was a rookie. In fact, his stats the last 2-3 years look an awful lot like his rookie year stats.
  3. I think Billy Hamilton will show up and play baseball right now for any team willing to give him a salary to do that. He was in Cleveland's camp last week.
  4. anyone in the OF who hasn't played in a few days?
  5. I mean, it's only one mock, but the first one I found by Googling has 5 QB in the first 9, and that's with several teams moving up for them. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/news/2021-nfl-mock-draft-49ers-washington-trade-up-for-qbs-jets-deal-to-pair-heisman-winner-with-zach-wilson/
  6. Until deals are made, I could see San Fran (12), Minnesota (14), especially New England (15), and Washington (19) all as potential places he could land in that range. If no one else takes him, and they don't move up - I'd struggle to see him getting past New England.
  7. It's a little hard to figure out the exact arb numbers because some guys (Lopez) might not be kept, but assuming they keep Giolito, Lopez, Fry, Marshall, Engel, they're somewhere in the $125-$130m range in 2022, without Lynn (and without any RF addition). So, keeping Lynn = already at $150 million.
  8. Has something changed about Jones where the Bears could now be expected to get him in the draft without having to trade up substantially?
  9. I don't believe there is a trade market for Watson, at least until August. The 2 sides are both going to push one to reveal that they're bluffing - either Watson is bluffing and he will not sit out the whole year, or the team is bluffing and they'll give in to a trade demand once Watson actually sits out. It could well be that neither is bluffing, and he "Leveon Bells" it the whole year and lets the team go 1-15. They're not even going to talk about him until they reach the point where he's actually holding out, it doesn't matter what you put on the table. If that's the case, then are you willing to sit there with your QB position unfilled through September and hope Houston gives in?
  10. Someone said on Twitter last week that they're still convinced he can coach, but that it just wasn't a fit for him.
  11. 366 days after I cleaned out my office, I made it.
  12. The reason we think that the current guys look better is that several guys from that system (Borchard, Rauch, Wells) never lived up to the hype. That doesn't mean it wasn't loaded, it just took a more circuitous route to 2005 than we would like to do this time.
  13. That early 2000s roster was ridiculously talented and followed up a true #1 system.
  14. I mean, if they’re dragging their feet, it’s because their tests weren’t that well designed in the first place. The approved 3, we have 30,000 cases where they tested that routine to see if it was safe. The Oxford vaccine, they tested in all sorts of different ways, and the “recommended” setup of a half sized dose followed by a full sized dose was only tested on a few hundred people by accident during the original trial. It really shouldn’t be approved here based on what they reported so far. Every time there’s a person with a real, legit reaction, it gives people a real reason to worry about it, and hurts our ability to overcome vaccine hesitation.
  15. According to The Last Dance, JR did try to bring him back in the summer of 98, but that was after JR had allowed the situation in the organization to deteriorate over years to the point Phil wasn’t going to say yes, especially not to a deal that didn't include a long-term commitment. The best description is not that he was fired, rather he was reinsdorfed.
  16. So yeah I’m still going to say it. The chaotic nature of this? That’s what happens when the federal government has 6 months to plan this, arrange dosing rules and schedules, build manufacturing capacity, get everyone ready, and instead hangs a sign on the door that says “gone drinkin’”.
  17. This is going to be said all season I’m sure, so just to make sure it’s on the record - no we did not need to. There were sufficient outfield options that good ones were available in late January. If Adam Eaton signed somewhere else in December that would have just removed one option for outfielders to land at. The only reason why the White Sox couldn’t wait on that market to develop was that they were impatient, and frankly it probably caused them to spend more on Eaton than they would have had they just waited.
  18. They will Have enough available to offer everyone a shot who wants one by May 31, per the current timeline. The fewer people who want them, the earlier you’re in.
  19. I get it for this year. We saw what happened to the Cardinals and Marlins last year, you have to do something to be ready if there is an outbreak that knocks a team out for 2 weeks. I have no urge to see 7 inning doubleheader’s in 2022.
  20. Houston being publicly defiant is I’m sure going to do wonders.
