So I don't want to derail the thread congratulating him on the birth of his child (congratulations, by the way), but I have a question for Sqwert. I know you're vegan and I'm pretty sure that your wife is, too. So I imagine you will raise your child vegan. If not, how does that work? And at what point does she get to make the choice between the two?

But nvm, the response will likely be, "Well, name someone better??? Scioscia? LaRussa? Lolzorz!!!" Haha, exactly. And the reason that he gets a free pass is the World Series. He will have a lifelong pass with many due to that.

I think the term "Jake f***ing Peavy" should be said more tongue-in-cheek than as a compliment to him. It should be similar to how Red Sox fans say "Bucky f***ing Dent".
