  1. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Dec 1, 2010 -> 11:22 PM) Anyone know where to download karaoke songs? Anybody?
  2. QUOTE (IChaseBlackWood @ Dec 2, 2010 -> 11:35 AM) Lazy bum!!! One time I was sure there was a ghost in the room. My dog was barking at absolutely nothing. I mean, he was going nuts. I slowly slinked in the direction of his barks and found the culprit. On the kitchen table, there was a Mufasa mug from one of those Disney On Ice things.
  3. QUOTE (IChaseBlackWood @ Dec 2, 2010 -> 11:22 AM) I was hoping for a little bit of an elaboration also ..but I didn't wanna push for it! lol There was a thread a while back talking about people's personal experiences with the paranormal. He may have already told his story in there, but I don't feel like looking for it.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Dec 2, 2010 -> 10:53 AM) Thanks Steve. Poor kid'll never know the pleasures of a nice piece of bacon. Congratulations, though! I've watched The Life Of David Gale (5 stars) and Quills (4 stars) in the last few days. I pretty much saw the outcome of the first one coming, but it was still a great movie. Quills sort of creeped me out, but it was filled with the best actors around and kept me into it the whole time. I've heard about the Marquis de Sade before and I don't know how much of that movie is embellished, but he was f***ed up if even half of if was true. I don't even want to look further into the guy.
  5. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Dec 1, 2010 -> 05:45 PM) I've seen it, that's why I believe. Expound.
  6. I mean no offense to Tex, Flaxx, or JPN, but it kills me the way Southerners talk about their lack of snow like it's some kind of medal. I f***ing love snow and it would just depress the hell out of me to go through the holidays with warm weather.

First of all, I can't believe how many people on this board have cats. My family already has all of their decorations up (minus the tree). It's usually my job to put it up, but someone else has handled it the last few years. I live with two friends, and we do no decorating of any kind.

  9. QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Nov 29, 2010 -> 01:52 PM) Good for him. That's the first thing I thought when I read the news. And again, it's not a terrible deal.
  10. QUOTE (Disco72 @ Dec 1, 2010 -> 08:47 AM) They specifically loaded the van that way because the Feds thought the Sons might try to hurt Jax "the rat." Although the symbolism in the last scene was pretty interesting. Yeah, duh.
  11. Anyone notice in the last scene how all of the members were on one side of the ATF van while Jax was alone on the other? They were playing some song about a king. The other guys all had their heads down like they were bowing and Jax was sitting there with his head above the rest.
  12. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 30, 2010 -> 10:02 PM) Kid filter on? It's just Stewie with Santa. It still has your last one for me.
  13. HELL YES FOR THAT FINALE
  14. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 30, 2010 -> 04:11 PM) Ho. Ho. Ho. Now I have a machine gun. Just can't see the new avatar yet. Is it Robot Santa Claus?

QUOTE (Tex @ Nov 30, 2010 -> 08:06 PM) Dear driving the wrong way in the parking lot idiot, See the bright yellow arrows painted on the pavement? See all the cars facing towards you? See me trying to get down the aisle? No f***ing way I'm backing up for your dumb ass. And while we're having this parking lot discussion, why are you pulling all the way through so you can take 15 minutes pulling forward and back to get out? You could have just parked regular. Oops, one more, and probably unique to the Rio Grande Valley. Yes, we place our shopping carts behind other cars after unloading. I know it isn't what you do "up north". Up north you jam them alongside cars, scrapping paint and making it a pain in the ass for the cart movers. By placing them behind the parked cars, the cart movers just sweep straight down and carts aren't banging into my door. It is a better system, so deal with it Winter Texan. Signed, Long day and grocery shopping with morons. Dear Tex, We have specific enclosed areas for carts, which seems much smarter than your method. With love, Milkman QUOTE (Nyx81 @ Nov 30, 2010 -> 07:24 PM) To the people next door, Your drunked and undoubtably drug laced parties (Yeah, I notice that Escalade there every week) that start at midnight through 5am in the morning on Tuesday night do go noticed. Keep your w****s from yelling out WOOO! Listen to MEEE! 20 feet from my bedroom window. You should also get rid of that rusted POS iroc thats been sitting in your driveway for 3 years, no ones gonna buy it. If you haven't noticed, the tires are flat now. Your garage with all the windows boarded up and a stack chimney coming out the top reminds me of Breaking Bad. Shut your F****** DOG UP!!! Just because you don't want to listen to it, doesn't mean we have to. Get a collar or train it. Signed, I hate you Dear Nyx, What word is that? Inquisitively, Milkman

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 30, 2010 -> 01:34 PM) Dear Milkman Delivers's boss... Dear Balta, Trust me, it is not easy to look away from this girl when her back is turned to you. Sincerely, Milk

Dear New Half-Italian, Half-Mexican Girl In The Office With The Amazing Posterior, Please remove your clothing. Regards, Every male in the office
  18. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Nov 29, 2010 -> 12:06 PM) Yeah I love the scenes he's in. And who knows, maybe he gets in trouble for the drowning later on. I can't imagine that will go over too well. And is Margaret officially on the hit list or do you think Nucky will try to make amends? He's got to get in trouble for it, as there were about 40 witnesses. I just don't know how they're going to handle it in the plot because he's a main character. Margaret is also a main character, so I'm sure Nucky will just try to make amends. He seemed pretty upset when Eli suggested getting rid of her. I'm also really digging the Harrow character (the one with the mask). When he said he could kill the D'Alessio's family members to get them out of hiding...just damn, that's cold.
  19. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Nov 29, 2010 -> 10:26 AM) Boardwalk Empire was soooo good last night. How in the hell does Van Alden get away with that? I just don't get anything that the character does, but he's easily the most intriguing person on that show. Can't wait to see Eli's reaction to being dropped by Nucky.
  20. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Nov 27, 2010 -> 01:50 PM) And they had Damaso Marte And they tried to land Don Cooper. Maybe the rest of the league (at least the Yankees) is buying into that old adage.
  21. I'm not as angry about this as Tex seems to be, but I really don't see a big problem with this. It might have its disadvantages, but I'm thinking overall that it is probably a good thing for the players. In regards to that specific story about Salcedo, it says he was tendered a $1.6 million contract. If you owe somebody money and you come into $1.6 million, people are going to come back expecting to be repaid and Salcedo would be a huge jagoff to not honor his debt. I doubt Boras is hounding the guy who borrowed $5,000 and never received a contract from anyone.
  22. I think we're overlooking the obvious choice here: Todd Helton. He's old and past his prime while making too much money and playing a position we need to fill!
  23. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Nov 28, 2010 -> 09:58 PM) It'd probably be set in Communist Russia. The plot would revolve around how everyone is controlled by the government and they decide where these people work and what they do, but in the end, it turns out that the people themselves are the government and they choose where they end up. Oh, and the country is run by a zombie Stalin, and Waldis comes in at the end of the movie and kills him with a spear. I was thinking he should use a poorly-fashioned cane.
  24. Just listen to the live version of In The City by the Eagles, that song rocks.
