Jose's only thrown 61 pitches.

OK, I know the guy's a career minor leaguer and I shouldn't expect anything from him besides catching pitches, but does anyone think there's a chance that Molina EVER gets a hit?

Contreras actually looking like he'll go deep into this game. That's nice. Some runs, please?

White Sox vs. Tigers, 4/21/07 (W)
Wow, despite giving up a grandslam in the first, Contreras actually has less pitches thrown than the guy with the no-no going.

QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Apr 21, 2007 -> 01:36 PM) Facing a pitcher that just sits on the outter half against this team is hilarious. 9 up, 9 down. Good work guys. It's pretty scary how many times we've seen that already this year.

Wouldn't it be some crazy s*** if we got no-hit a couple days after throwing one ourselves?

QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 21, 2007 -> 01:20 PM) Funny how far Contreras has fallen from this point last year to right now. He's easily our worst starting pitcher. I was gonna disagree with this post, but then I realized you're right. He is easily the worst of our starters.

Can our bullpen pitch 7 or 8 scoreless innings?

Catch-All Anything Thread
I have a question. Can someone post all the possible ranks and required post counts to get them? You know, like benchwarmer, all star, etc. I've always wondered what levels there were and exactly how high it goes.

I *heart* Jim Thome
I noticed the 5 walks yesterday on gameday. I mentioned it to my friends...and they didn't seem to care. Damn Red Sox fans.

QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Apr 19, 2007 -> 09:40 PM) 60% of our runs via the dong What's the league average? I mean, 60% doesn't sound completely ridiculous.

I just took about a 4-hour nap. I dreamed that the Sox cut Erstad. I am not kidding.

MARK BUEHRLE HAS PITCHED A NO-HITTER!
On April 18, 2007, Buerhle no-hit the Texas Rangers at U.S. Cellular Field, the first no-hitter in the stadium's history. It was the sixteenth such game in team history and the first since Wilson Alvarez threw one in 1991. He actually faced the minimum number of batters, walking Sammy Sosa but picking him off the base for an out. It was the first no-hitter by a White Sox pitcher at home since Joe Horlen on September 10, 1967. Buehrle struck out eight Rangers during the game. I love how fast people update wikipedia.

MARK BUEHRLE HAS PITCHED A NO-HITTER!
Anybody else out of the area and pretty angry at ESPN for not breaking in? OK, I'm not angry because I'm way too pumped right now. This adrenaline rush is insane. Still would've liked to have seen it, though.

White Sox vs. Rangers, 4/18/07 (W) ~Buehrle No-Hitter~
Had to follow on gameday because ESPN wouldn't break in. That's pathetic. This was awesome anyway. I haven't shaken that much since October of 2005.

Dollar Menunaire commercials absolutely suck. The anti-smoking ones are even worse. Skittles commercials make no sense whatsoever, but they're hilarious and they get a pass.

QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 18, 2007 -> 02:18 PM) I have very strong feelings against anyone who calls themself a diehard Sox fan and went to bed before that game was over. I question your fanhood if you didn't develop an ulcer as a direct result of that game.
