Let's hope Jon stops sucking today.

Am I crazy?
QUOTE(Hanky Panky @ May 5, 2006 -> 04:56 PM) My friend (initials B.K.) predicted that Clemens would return this season but for the Boston Red Sox. He then went on to predict that the Red Sox would be 2006 World Champions. It's been his preseason prediction from the start. Is your friend Beter Kammons?

What was better
Hands down, it's Uribe diving into the stands in the 9th inn... Oh, wait. In that case, I have to go with Iguchi.

Look up in the Sky!
QUOTE(kyyle23 @ May 2, 2006 -> 10:54 PM) I read that Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst and James Franco have signed for 3 movies and thats all they are committed for. the hot rumor is that Jake Gyllenhal is the next spiderman. God bless Jeff Brantley
QUOTE(RibbieRubarb @ May 2, 2006 -> 08:25 AM) Wasn't there a issue last year with Brantley and the Sox? Almost an media agrument between him and Guillen?? I remember something... Ozzie also referred to Brantley (if I remember correctly) as a horse-s*** pitcher when he was asked about what Brantley said.

AND THATS A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!!!!!!&#
And maybe Cotts' troubles can be blamed on his lack of a "closer mentality" or something? Saying it makes me feel better.

Pujols, God's gift to hitting
QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ May 1, 2006 -> 02:53 PM) That would be cool. I really like Pujols. He's a god at the plate, but he's very likable IMO. It wouldn't just be cool. It'd be almost poetic justice. For years of cheating, Bonds will see himself fall short of the all-time HR lead, then witness his greatest single-season achievement be broken. Whereas, Pujols would break the record after years of being a great, charitable, clean guy. Man, that's too sweet to ever come true. Or is it...
-
Pujols, God's gift to hitting
Does anyone think he actually has a chance to break Bonds' record this year? It's very early, and I certainly don't want to get my hopes up, but wouldn't it be the sweetest thing for Bonds to see his record erased in his retirement year (probably)?

White Sox v. LAA Angels 4/30 2:35 CSN
So, what happened with Dye?
-
White Sox v. LAA Angels 4/30 2:35 CSN
Can someone give me a quick overview of what's happened these 2 innings? And did the Angels do something dirty?

Mench On A Torrid Power Streak
QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Apr 28, 2006 -> 11:14 PM) Yeah Griffey, Mattingly, and maybe one more...can't remember if it is one more or not. The last guy to get 7 was Thome. I remember when Thome did it with the Phillies. I believe the last person to hit a homer in eight straight was Herbert Perry. I may be mistaken, though.

Mench On A Torrid Power Streak
Record's eight games, right?

Game Thread-White Sox vs. Angels(Fri., April 28)
I'm drunk, but I just wanted to say this. I love the hell out of our middle infielders. Uribe and Iguchi are the s***.

Hawk & DJ? Feud?
For some reason, I've always liked DJ. I'm probably in the minority, though. Nothing compares to watching the Sox with Hawk and DJ commentating.

Konerko Avatar
Yeah, it was really f***in' sweet.
-
Konerko Avatar
Does anyone have that avatar of Konerko hitting the homer after being beaned by Kerry Wood? The one that says Konerkowned. I don't even want to use it. I just want to see it again because it's so great. Kinda weird, but I'm bored.

Delmon Young throws bat at umpire after...
They just showed it on Sportscenter again. I stand by my original feelings. This asshole should be out the whole year.

Delmon Young throws bat at umpire after...
"It was just a mistake" doesn't fly in the real world. This idiot knows you don't touch the umpire at all, let alone with the bat. I don't care if he threw the bat or tossed it. He did something he knew wasn't allowed to do, and now he's gonna have to pay the price. I don't care if it was a mistake or if he's just immature. f*** him. He'll think twice now before he does something like this again.

Delmon Young throws bat at umpire after...
QUOTE(Punch and Judy Garland @ Apr 27, 2006 -> 01:24 PM) Most people want him suspended with the key being thrown away. I'm stunned. I think its because he's not a major leaguer and because there aren't any Tampa fans. If he were on the Sawx or the Dodgers then their fanbases would get behind him. I say more than the Roberto Alomar suspension but nothing too ridiculous. 15-20 games will get the message across. Ask yourself, what does a season suspension tell a kid that 20 games doesn't? To me, not much It tells you that you don't throw a f***ing baseball bat at an umpire or else you don't get to play for the whole f***ing season. That's what it tells me, at least. The problem is that most people know that you don't throw bats at people, and they don't need some kind of suspension to know it. Apparently, this s***head didn't realize it wasn't a good thing to throw bats at people.

White Sox @ Mariners 4/26
QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ Apr 26, 2006 -> 10:30 PM) Oh f***. OH f***! 1-2 and he hit 'em. This is not good at all, very very very very very very bad. I might be turning this game off if this keeps up. f***! Jesus Christ. Take it easy, psycho.

White Sox @ Mariners 4/25
This experiment failed miserably. It's definitely time to bring up Lopez. Boone is just too young and inexperienced.
-
White Sox v. Mariners
Is this one of those games where it just seems like we can't win to anyone else?
-
White Sox v. Mariners
Ichiro could be hitting .051 on the season, and he'd still hit 1.000 against us.
-
White Sox v. Mariners
What did Mackowiak do that was so heads up?

some thoughts on my first sox game this season
This guy is playing all of you like fiddles. He's just getting a rise out of you. There is no way he is serious with any of this. And I will give him credit. The things he is saying and the pictures he is posting are funny.
