Sox vs Royals 4/19
Great outing by Vazquez. Still, I'm a little more anxious today than I usually am for some reason.. Let's just end this one as fast as we can, please.

Sox vs Royals 4/19
QUOTE(Controlled Chaos @ Apr 19, 2006 -> 04:02 PM) It wasn't really bound to happen. He had a great chance at a no no, but now that it has....lets take him out after next inning, unless he really wants the CG. No-hitters are very rare. You expect every team to get at least one hit in every game. It doesn't make me angry to see a no-no broken up usually, because I just assume it's going to happen eventually.

Hey, it was bound to happen. At least the pressure is off now.

Miguel Olivo
Miguel Olivo will probably be out of baseball in a couple years. Don't get too attached. He's just not good.

AND THATS A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!!!!!!&#
Does anyone know how Anderson did in his first few weeks in each new level (A, AA, AAA) of play?

Fan Arrested For Throwing 'Tube' at Bonds
QUOTE(Cuck the Fubs @ Apr 18, 2006 -> 11:37 AM) That would be horrible. I bet at Wrigley they can barf at him. My economics teacher said he's got friend who live outside Wrigley, and he's like, "Every time the Cubs have a night game, someone either barfs or takes a dump on their lawn." Man, take it easy with the Cubs. I can't remember a post of yours where you didn't mention them in some way. You hate the Cubs, yes. We all do. It's like it runs your life.

Player Comparison Game
QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Apr 10, 2006 -> 06:04 PM) These players, keep in mind, are basically the exact same age (born 10 days apart in the same year). Also, both are listed as left fielders: Player A: .279/.374/.380 SLG 89 SB, 25 CS (78%) 303 G 1044 AB Player B: .276/.342/.381 SLG 172 SB 46 CS (79%) 461 G 1753 AB Player A is Ryan Freel and Player B is Scott Podsednik. The only noticeable differences are Pods has had more PT and is a lefty and Freel walks a lot more, is a much better defender, and plays a lot more positions As much as I love Pods....he's a lot like Freel, a really fast utility player. Pods will improve and get his hits as long as he stays healthy, but I think we need to put in perspective just how good Pods actually is. Or get Ryan Freel!

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Apr 10, 2006 -> 03:30 PM) No. Yes Good. Is that in-depth enough? That'll do, pig. That'll do.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
OK, I literally just walked back into my dorm. Can someone please break down the pitching today? Are our fears about Garcia and Jenks eased for the time being? How did the hitters look, besides Pods who I see is hitless again today?

Phew, that'll ease the worries for a bit.

Sox vs. Kansas City, 4/9/06, Buehrle vs. Elarton
Is it terrible to hope that Sweeney gets hurt for a while?

QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Apr 9, 2006 -> 12:48 AM) Lucky Number Slevin is a f***in' great movie. Going to see that on Tuesday. Looks to be good. I saw the matinee of the Benchwarmers yesterday (simply because it was really cheap), and it ended up being less terrible than I imagined.

Famous people and swearing....
I wouldn't consider many of those people "famous."

Sox vs. Kansas City, 4/08/06, Vazquez vs. Bautista
QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Apr 8, 2006 -> 05:15 PM) f***ING DISGUSTING. It's almost as if they talk to themselves between innings and say, "How can we lose in the most excruciating way possible?" It's time for Buehrle to step up tomorrow. Pitch like an ace against an atrocious Kansas City Royals team. And pitch 9 innings, too. That'd be nice and prevent the bullpen from losing it.

Sox vs. Kansas City, 4/08/06, Vazquez vs. Bautista
This is beyond disappointing. I almost feel depressed with the way things are going so far. Ugh...

Sox vs. Kansas City, 4/08/06, Vazquez vs. Bautista
How many homers does Sweeney have against the Sox in his lifetime? How many career homers does he have? I bet about a quarter of his HR's are against us.
-
Sox vs. Kansas City, 4/08/06, Vazquez vs. Bautista
It infuriates me that Sweeney does this to us ALL OF THE f***ING TIME. I swear to God, that guy is responsible for 95% of the Royals' wins against us. When he comes up to bat, I just assume he's going to homer. That is f***ing ridiculous.
