I didn't see the game but at least Ozzie calling for the bunt. Remember 4-5 years ago when we had a manager that wouldn't even do that? Remember how frustrating that was? edit: I would like to add that I would rather Owens steal and then see the bunt but at least Ozzie has gone with option #2.

not sure where else to post this but I got a chuckle reading this on Jeff Bagwell's wikipedia. "The Boston Red Sox chose Mo Vaughn in the first round of the 1989 draft ahead of Bagwell. It is the only time in history that a team selected two future MVPs in the same draft." I am fairly certain that Mo wont get in and Bagwell could and most likely will fall short too.

A game like tonight is is why I still watch the sox. The feeling of elation after a win is the greatest. The sun shines brighter the next day, food tastes better, the world isn't so bad. That is why I still watch.
