Look at this roster. Filled with bad players and aging players. It's not the manager or general manager's fault. We all knew that they'd have to rebuild at some point and Guillen and Williams deserve the opportunity to head this rebuilding project based on winning a World Championship.

The team needs to be rebuilt and that's ok. I don't understand the angst. Be glad their tanking before the trade deadline. Done properly they can get a decent bounty of prospects and have roughly $50M to spend this offseason.

Truth be told, Anderson was never a blue chip prospect. He's 25 and has been awful at the plate in 400 career AB's. He'd be worth starting in CF if the Sox rebuilding in the hopes that he'd turn into a useful player by the time he's 27.
