QUOTE (Ranger @ Dec 1, 2009 -> 05:55 PM) I'm loving this thread. I'm actually wondering where the person who calls himself "Flash Tizzle" is. His post that includes the following is gold: "I knew Williams would f*** up any potential deal for a starting pitcher." If I find any other good ones, I may have to post. Good stuff. Flash is the man, he is solid. He loves to talk s*** just because sometimes -

Once Floyd flashed his complete ownage of the Tigers, I think people started to back off and realize that he is much better than the "total bust" label that followed him to Chicago. -

QUOTE (LosMediasBlancas @ Dec 1, 2009 -> 02:25 PM) Allegedly. 'Years' is the key word here. Show me a hott chick and somewhere nearby is a guy who is tired of banging her. Just because you drive a Porsche doesn't mean you'd turn down a free ride in a banged up Impala. Should I go on with the tired cliches? yes, more please. -

QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Nov 30, 2009 -> 04:31 PM) Understandable. You didn't even like the stand up a little bit? I admit it wasn't great, but I thought some of it was pretty good. I really thought it was the least funny part(s) of the movie. My favorite part was Eminems cameo because it was so random, and him ripping on Ray Romano was pretty funny too. i was disappointed. I knew the subject material going into the movie and I felt it was mishandled and about 40 minutes(at least) too long.

QUOTE (BurlyMan56 @ Nov 29, 2009 -> 10:18 PM) http://www.dlisted.com/node/35019 Courtesty of www.dlisted.com Apparently, Grady wants opposing baseball fans to make fun of him every at-bat. He took these pictures for his former playmate girlfriend. No, I was not looking for these, I stumbled upon and find it hilarious. Thank me later guys. No, i am reading CURRENT playmate girlfriend http://deadspin.com/5415494/same-person-ke...girlfriend-says Apparently Grady has a little stalker who is causing them both some problems. The photos were stolen, not leaked

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Nov 30, 2009 -> 06:06 PM) Yeah, its really hurt their recruiting classes..... Maybe its just time to admit that Notre Dame isnt a football power anymore, and isnt a destination that athletes seek out. Those days are over. Since Weis has been at ND havent they consistently had top 10-5 recruiting classes? I dont think the problem is that athletes didnt want to come to ND, I think the problem was that there wasnt someone who could coach them up, especially on the defensive side. If Quinn or Clausen ever had a bad day, ND was totally f***ed. That defense was a sieve. -
Urlacher should watch when Turner calls his run plays. First off, they are predictable. Second, the OL cannot block, so the opposing D line streams in and nails Forte in the backfield. I dont care what you think or say, if they ran the ball more they would of scored less than they have this year, if thats even possible. Someone should show Urlacher those back to back stuffs on the 1 yard line when Forte fumbled twice, then ask him to reiterate his thoughts.

QUOTE (G&T @ Nov 30, 2009 -> 04:08 PM) Chip Carey out as TBS lead broadcaster. I kind of feel bad for him because he seems like a genuinely nice guy(I havent heard any stories about him bigtiming anyone or being anything less than friendly out in public) but jeez did he ever screw up the playoffs. It was like he was watching a different game most of the time. And he needs to just remove "fisted" from his vocabulary.

QUOTE (Palehosefan @ Nov 30, 2009 -> 03:11 PM) You have ND people saying he's coming to ND, and OU people saying he's staying. Very interesting. Stoops has been courted a few times and left some programs at the altar, I wouldnt be surprised either way -

QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Nov 30, 2009 -> 01:48 PM) I think lots of people were expecting a laugher of a movie. I enjoyed it. When you have an entire cast of comedians and you make a dramatic movie, that is based on a successful comedians life and possible death, you are going to come away thinking you got jipped a little bit. A big problem for me was that the standup in the movie wasnt even funny. Not at all.

I saw funny people last night. Not funny. Very long. Lots of people

QUOTE (balfanman @ Nov 30, 2009 -> 07:26 AM) I disagree with this statement that several people, not you in particular Jordan, have made over the last couple of months. Freddy is now 2 seasons removed from surgery and I think by most would be considered just about fully healthy. I realize that he is never going to throw high 90's heat again, but he has shown that he can be very effective as a "junkballer". The pitcher that I am most concerned about is Gavin Floyd and his hip injury. I don't think that it was ever clearly identified as just a one time thing, or explained to be a reoccuring problem. Someone did say at one time I believe that Gavins injury is different from what cut short the career of Brit Burns, but I still wonder if this is something that is going cause future problems for Gavin as well. Gavin did say something about a month or so ago about "feeling fine", but it wouldn't be the first time that someone thought that they were good to go after being off of it for a couple of months only to find out that the problem still existed after they started to be active again. This could also be why Gavin decided to sign his contract last offseason, maybe he felt that his hip could turn into a problem and wanted to protect himself in the case that it did. I'm not a doctor and I am not trying to be pessimistic towards Gavin. I just think that Floyd is more of a concern than Garcia at this point. So you are more concerned about Gavin because he wasnt allowed to pitch his last few meaningless starts as opposed to Freddy who was released by the Mets last year and took over for those last few meaningless starts after rehabbing again in the minors? To me a shoulder injury is much more worrisome than a hip pointer.

QUOTE (Jenks Heat @ Nov 29, 2009 -> 07:27 PM) Time to get Jarron Gilbert some playing time. Also when does Gaines Adams report to the Bears? Not until the Bucs actually use the 2nd round pick does he become an official part of the roster. Thats what I keep telling myself

QUOTE (SoxAce @ Nov 29, 2009 -> 05:52 PM) Theo has been trying to get Hanley back for years now. He will gladly take Beckett/Lowell and the W.S. titles of course, but he knows he gave up a premier talent and in some strange way regrets it. He can try all he wants, I seriously doubt the Marlins will trade that guy. Oh I dont think it is strange at all. I think it is perfectly normal.
-
I somehow figured that the guy who put this defense together would somehow turn it around this season and we would see a marked improvement. boy was I wrong.

I dunno shack. He seems pretty proud of himself in those pics. Maybe its one of those intentional/unintentional leaks

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Nov 29, 2009 -> 04:52 PM) Was it Bennett or Knox? I'm watching the game from the link Knight put up earlier. Not the best quality. That ball looked terribly underthrown to me. I was referring to the second interception that was bennett. The underthrown ball was to knox

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Nov 29, 2009 -> 04:45 PM) So who's fault was it then? The line? Lovie's? Turner's? Josh Mcdaniels? Maybe it was my fault? Bennett letting it bounce off his arms? First one all Cutler. Second one, again, on the Recievers.
