  1. QUOTE (juddling @ Oct 10, 2008 -> 06:05 AM) "This is a contract. I don't like the way his property looks. This clown gets to do what he wants, and I'm as mad as hell," he said. Im sure this is what he wants, to leave a brand new house, wife and son to go to Kuwait
  2. Looks like Goodell has already sent in his troops to investigate. Does Pacman ever stay at home at night? The guy just gravitates to trouble. I wonder what his bodyguard was stopping him from doing
  3. http://www.sportsbybrooks.com/report-pacma...t-scuffle-20329 So does this get swept under the rug by Jerry Jones Inc?

QUOTE (The Critic @ Oct 8, 2008 -> 02:00 AM) The sooner, the better. This girl does NOT have a magic vagina. She is NOT "supporting" you, she is dating some other dude. Find someone who wants to be with you, or just be on your own until you do. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 8, 2008 -> 07:31 AM) That. There's plenty of fish in the sea, and she's already nailing some other dude up in college while you think about her. Get drunk, and find another girl. This one is dead to you. QUOTE (rangercal @ Oct 8, 2008 -> 07:34 AM) get with her best friend. In all seriousness, if you did pull that off, that would be revenge *10. LOL, we are all so bad. The funny thing is, 4 years down the line someone else is going to make a girl problem thread just like this, and Sonik is gonna jump in and say "Forget about her, go get drunk"
  5. Im just gonna say it, because I believe it: If the Sox win tomorrow, they will win the series.

QUOTE (Kid Gleason @ Oct 5, 2008 -> 08:13 PM) Watch his face as he walks off the field, you can tell he is loving the crowd and the situation. He has more than earned a spot in Chicagos heart. You can tell it is reciprocated as well, after the clinching game when he got his champagne shower he looked like a little kid who got the best present on Christmas. He is such a gamer, I love watching him pitch
  7. One last little "tweak"
  8. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Oct 4, 2008 -> 04:29 PM) I'm sure I'll be bashed if we have any MMA elitists here, but no one will ever beat Kimbo Slice now that he has the slightest bit of training. There is no beating 250 pounds of pure awesome. Period. KISS.OF.DEATH.
  9. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Oct 4, 2008 -> 04:30 PM) Only problem I have with this series is that they won't get the chance to lose at home. Those are always the funnest. They got that taken care of last year
  10. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Oct 4, 2008 -> 08:55 AM) Well, my main problem with switching to white towels is that we won with the black towels. You do not change anything in this type of situation. And switching the opening theme would be the same thing. I dont know, they used that theme through 2006 and 2007, and it didnt seem to change things. Since when did you get so superstitious?
  11. QUOTE (shipps @ Oct 4, 2008 -> 08:11 AM) Isnt it a little counter productive to hand out white towels in a blackout? That was the whole point to handing out black towels in the first blackout so they would see nothing but black. I think they felt the black towels were somewhat counterproductive because they really couldnt be seen against the black background I was thinking that maybe the Sox should switch opening themes from "thunderstruck" to "Back in Black". It would be fitting, and Im sure the crowd would react
  12. The problem is that Vazquez increasingly sh*tty performances down the stretch basically forced Guillen into starting him in Game 1 because of how Guillen had to use Danks, Buehrle and Floyd to clinch. If the Sox were able to capitalize just one of those games that Javy started, Ozzie may have been able to set his rotation and we probably would have seen Danks start game 1. And I understand it isnt all on Javy as it is a team game, but Javy really has a hard time holding onto any lead given to him and has collapses that really suck the life out of a team.
  13. I couldnt be more disappointed in the tone that Javy sets on any important series where he is the #1.
  14. Has this issue been raised any other time in the history of a tie-breaking game? IIRC, the home team holds a 5-3 edge in the tiebreaking game. Its not like the away team has been skunked every time. How about next time you go into a black hole, you dont have the best hitter in the league bunt?
  15. QUOTE (wilmot825 @ Oct 2, 2008 -> 10:34 AM) On the field during the celebration, Chuck Garfien interviewed Mark Buehrle mentioned how they played Journey. He then said "you guys had a song for '05 with 'Dont' Stop Believin', what is this years?" Buehrle then said "We have a one picked, its a bit corny but we will let everyone know shortly." What is the song Its "Old MacDonald had a farm"
  16. QUOTE (RME JICO @ Oct 2, 2008 -> 07:10 AM) Relaxed and excited. As we saw last night with the Scrubs. In baseball, anyone can win any given day. It is a new season. We've played TB fairly well all season. When we score 4+ runs, we are 4-1 against them. If we score 3 or less, we are 0-5. So our magic number for runs scored is 4. We also have no expectations. No one is picking us to win the series, and many have us being swept. There is no pressure, just go out, have fun and enjoy the ride. Lets also hope Vazquez believes today is April 18th. Wait a second, the Sox are 4 - 6 vs the Rays this year? Why does it seem like they are 1-7 to me?
  17. QUOTE (rangercal @ Oct 2, 2008 -> 10:48 AM) white sox rap I found on youtube where is our buddy sox-r-won
  18. How does Davis consistently get away with firing his coaches without paying them? I had no idea he still owed Shanahan money. And his tampering and cheating accusations, usually when people start dropping those words Goodell isnt far behind. And if the Patriots were tampering with Moss before they acquired him, why would the Raiders trade him there? It just doesnt make sense. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3619925 http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3620818
  19. Illinois Why isnt there an "Excited" option?

  23. Wow, I didnt think the Cubs would get punked like this. Its probably a real good thing that they cut off beer sales last inning
  24. I wonder which side of Zambrano shows up tomorrow. He has been all over the map recently, and outside of his no-hitter, NOT in a good way.
  25. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=3620877 Seems like he is in a bit of trouble here
