    Sandwich

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Sep 11, 2008 -> 10:32 AM) Ham and cheese on white bread with mustard. I love me a normal sammich. B****! MAKE ME A SAMMITCH!!! The sandwiches I like seriously change with the season. I love the subway spicy italian sub in the spring/summertime, pepperjack cheese, mayo, lettuce, tomato, cucumbers, banana peppers, mustard(sometimes), spices and seasonings, oil and vinegar. In the fall/winter I love italian beef with sweet peppers and mozzerella, reuben sandwiches, and of course the post-thanksgiving leftover sandwich
  2. Fire and Brimstone, The Sky is falling! THIS.TEAM.IS.DEAD! More angry stuff! Oh wait, the Sox won yesterday Go Sox
  3. QUOTE (shipps @ Sep 11, 2008 -> 09:55 AM) For that much money he should be able to change his name to Chad Largepenis if thats what he wants. LMAO, I wish that would happen.
  4. I lived with the lead guitarist of Revis, back when they were called Orco. It was a pretty neat experience, and I am thanked in the liner notes, which is pretty damn cool if you ask me

    The Dark Knight

QUOTE (DBAHO @ Sep 10, 2008 -> 02:22 PM) Well maybe you can make his riddles far more interesting / dangerous. I mean the Joker was meant to be a funny character, and Nolan turned him into a dangerous freak. You could do the same with the Riddler I'm sure. The Joker has a long history of being extremely unfunny. The Killing Joke was a prime example of that, the guy murdered Robin in the comic "A Death in the Family". Heath Ledgers version of the Joker was a different take on the character, but not out of the ordinary. The Riddler really hasnt had many murderous storylines, he always was more of a thief/powerhungry character

    The Dark Knight

QUOTE (DBAHO @ Sep 10, 2008 -> 11:20 AM) Depp would be too "comic relief" for me as the Riddler I'd feel anyway. Nolan likes to make his villians far more "serious" also. And I agree with this, but if thats the case then the Riddler should be avoided

    The Dark Knight

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Sep 10, 2008 -> 10:40 AM) Why would Depp ever take that role? Honestly, would you want to come in and take a role where no matter what you did you'd never be able to be as good as Ledger? Heck, even if he did have as good of a performance as Ledger (and Depp is an amazing actor so he possibly could) no one would really recognize it as such. That would be a terrible role to accept, imo. At the same time, any actor taking any villain role in the next Batman will be held up to that standard, so it is a lose-lose situation no matter what. Personally, I can take each movie as a seperate entity telling the same story. While I am going to want another Joker, I know its not gonna happen, and I am not going to be mad that someone isnt the Joker.

Screenrant thinks the Will Smith rumor is bogus, but who knows

    The Dark Knight

QUOTE (CubKilla @ Sep 9, 2008 -> 11:12 PM) Why does everyone think Depp would be great as the Riddler????? I ask this question in all seriousness because, if Nolan directs the 3rd movie, the Riddler will probably be unlike any interpretation of the character casual Batman fans are familiar with. What makes Depp so "perfect" for the role? Enlighten me. Please. I think its because Depp is very good about playing a Jester type character. You can only reinterpret the Riddler character so much. Sure, he could be a cold blooded killer, but he will still have the clues left behind, and the overconfident personality laughing at everyone trying to keep up with him. The Joker has had a few different makeovers(from silly to psychotic) during the his history, but the Riddler has pretty much stayed the course. I dont know that Depp would be the greatest, but I certainly dont think he would be a bad choice
  12. QUOTE (shipps @ Sep 10, 2008 -> 09:17 AM) Should Balta start rapping in his posts? That would be so awesome. Maybe he can wear some soxtalk bling on his youtube video
  13. QUOTE (shipps @ Sep 10, 2008 -> 09:06 AM) Stop your rejoicing there are a million other ways the world can end today. And a few ways might be unruly sox fans I might add. Well, the black holes didnt kill me. At least there is that.

    What do i do?

QUOTE (Sonik22 @ Sep 9, 2008 -> 07:31 PM) So now i basically f***ed everything up. I hooked up with a girl last night, and i just told her about it. I guess that was pretty wrong to do, but if she didnt really have the feelings i had for her why should she feel so upset about it? But she's just told me that everything is over between us. Wow, just f***. Well this is the best part of long distance relationships, the breakup. You dont have to see the person or interact with them, its just over. Plenty of fish in that fishbowl Sonik, 4 years from now you will realize it was just a blip on the screen
  15. QUOTE (JorgeFabregas @ Sep 9, 2008 -> 04:07 PM) Because he has trouble putting the ball into play and has no power. seriously? Do you watch the games?
  16. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 9, 2008 -> 02:30 PM) Should have ph Wise for Uribe, and maybe they would have pulled Burnett. wait, you want Fields playing third late in a close game over juan?

    The Dark Knight

QUOTE (Brian @ Sep 9, 2008 -> 09:34 AM) I'd love to see Depp as the Riddler. I never was a fan of the Penguin character. I don't know if I would like this series of Batman films to go down the path like the previous series with multiple villains. Clogs things up IMO. Its already down that path, Scarecrow and Ras Al Ghul, Joker and Two Face
  18. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Sep 9, 2008 -> 10:30 AM) Jackson has a lot of raw ability. He had to pass way too much in the game and as a result he really struggled. However, he played much better in the 2nd half when he decided to utilize his feet a bit more often. Green Bay looked pretty good. Only real mistakes they made were related to some dumb penalties (which should get cleaned up as the season goes on). The Packers appear to be the best team in the division, especially with Rodgers looking so efficient. I couldnt disagree more. The penalties made in that game by the Packers were absolutely atrocious
  19. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Sep 9, 2008 -> 09:48 AM) Well at least Russell has a giant arm. Fargas looked good. Yeah that about it I think. McFadden will be good too. I just dont understand throwing all of that money at Tommie Kelly though. He is good, but he isnt as good as Tommie Harris
  20. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Sep 9, 2008 -> 09:14 AM) Wow. My Raiders still suck. Maybe next year. Maybe. Most likely when Al Davis isnt allowed to call all of the shots anymore. His personnel decisions since the Oakland-Tampa superbowl have been atrocious
  21. QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 8, 2008 -> 10:11 PM) Do you realize how big that DH is?? Man pennant races are scary. Let's face it, Minnie is going to sweep KC. The games probably won't be even close. KC is in the tank. They have quit on their little dictator of a manager who has done a piss poor job this season. Hope we bring our A game(s) tomorrow. Do you realize you have been making statements like this since July
  22. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Sep 8, 2008 -> 08:50 PM) I think this might quiet down some of the KW doubters again...since he was smart enough to trade Gio twice and get more back in return than he would had he performed this way for the White Sox at the big league level. Now his weaknesses have been exposed. Of course, he'll probably turn things around and become the next Cliff Lee! First Arnie Munoz, now Gio. When is a young White Sox pitcher that's rumored to have a great curveball going to be able to execute at the highest level? Does it matter if he nets you Thome, then Swisher?

    The Dark Knight

Johnny Depp and Phillip Seymour Hoffman as the Riddler and Penguin?
  24. Watching this Monday night game makes me feel a lot better about the Bears chances in the NFL north this year. There is about 11 penalties already, and its the 2nd quarter with 10:27 left
