Nice curveball Vince. He is setting up some sort of storyline for sure. I like it

Would you cheer Vince on or boo him if you were at this show?

QUOTE(Brian @ Jun 11, 2007 -> 09:57 PM) I was actually hoping Jillian got drafted to Raw earlier in the show. I like her "pop princess" gimic. She is also a talented woman wrestler who could contend for the women's title. Maybe she will jump on Wed. Was she the one who was MnM's publicist with the giant growth on her face gimmick?

QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Jun 11, 2007 -> 09:54 PM) Austin had such a great run. too bad his body and specifically his knees wont let him be the wrestler that he used to be. Now he is just a caricature of what he used to be. When he comes in to the ring, he is gonna stun someone, thats it, nothing else.

QUOTE(Brian @ Jun 11, 2007 -> 09:52 PM) The rich get richer! Kennedy is RAW! i like it. Snitsky is inconsequential, but I like Kennedy

Matt hardy disappeared into jobberville after the whole Edge-Lita affair and subsequent failures to get revenge, but recently he has made a nice comeback, Im starting to enjoy watching his matches again. He just had a great run at it with Orton

QUOTE(Steff @ Jun 11, 2007 -> 01:46 PM) Enjoyed Ocean 13. Ellen Barkin has a very scary boob job. Scary as in "Oh My F***ING GOD THOSE ARE HUGE", or scary as in "Yikes, Tara Reids look more natural than those"?

Im really excited about the new HBO show "Flight of the Conchords", so when I saw this film starring one of the bandmembers, I was pretty interested. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-xVMkqaOUS0

i definitely wouldnt go about removing anything tied into a gas line without proper instruction or someone who knows what they are doing. If it were me, I would call the gas company and ask who they recommend for the removal of gas grills.

QUOTE(The Ginger Kid @ Jun 10, 2007 -> 12:50 PM) has anyone heard anything about Pods returning and when that's expected to happen? Mid july was the first time they had. -
What would happen if we still had Freddy Garcia?

QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 10, 2007 -> 12:26 PM) His ERA would be twice as high as Danks. I didnt want to say that because I hadnt looked at his stats, so i was trying to be generous. It sure looks that way though -
QUOTE(bulokis @ Jun 10, 2007 -> 10:58 AM) Does anybody here had a natural gas grill removed from the backyard? Who did you get to remove it or did you do it yourself. Is this something in-ground with a direct pipe to your natural gas-line?

Well a few positives I noticed at the yard yesterday...

QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Jun 10, 2007 -> 09:39 AM) I have never cheered my team to lose. Ever. I have turned off games in disguist, and even laughed at how morbidly funny some of the s*** that happens to us this year is, but anybody that openly roots for a loss really should find a new team. Thats why I try as hard as possible to not respond to tito in gamethreads. I dont think he is bad enough to warrant ignoring, but sometimes it seems he takes much pleasure in watching the team fail. -

QUOTE(daa84 @ Jun 10, 2007 -> 09:15 AM) yeah, people complained about the trade but gio is establishing himself as one of baseballs top pitching prospects, and anything we get from floyd is just bonus probably LOL, i like how you quoted Heads22's response with the Supervolcano, and then gave a serious response. What difference would it make if Freddy was on the team. He isnt bullpen help, the starters arent the problem. In truth, his ERA would probably be a little higher than Danks or roughly the same. -

QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Jun 10, 2007 -> 09:31 AM) Not at all.PS: I'm sure there are plenty of people the same way, with negativity taken to the extreme but fairly normal in real life. COUGHtitoCOUGH There is a difference in b****ing about how poorly your team is doing, and cheering on your team losing. A really big difference. -

QUOTE(Brian @ Jun 9, 2007 -> 10:25 PM) OMGZ!!! CENA IS DA BEST IN THE WORLD!!!! DANIELSON CAN'T KICK OUT OF THAT MOVE!!1! Seriously though, news on the ROH PPV? I'm still interested in getting it. If you think Orton's chinlocks look weak, you aren't watching wrestling. Whether you think rest hold are boring or not, Orton actually makes those holds look legit. Talk to anyone who has been trained. Who do you know that has been "trained"? Did SIU come up with a wrestling promotion in the 2 years since I left Carbondale? Love the yellow pants that Cena is sporting. I miss Ernest The Cat Miller. That guy was hilarious in the ring and on the mic, I loved when he was on television. QUOTE(Brian @ Jun 9, 2007 -> 10:13 PM) LoL, I don't remember Lance Storm or Dean Malenko getting anyone to pop. I will give you Lance Storm, he was pretty bland even though a great technical wrestler, but you are dead wrong on Malenko.

Who are you and what have you done with Whitesoxfan101? Join the Boone Logan society, not only am I the president, I am also a client! QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Jun 10, 2007 -> 09:20 AM) Jon Garland + Greg Maddux should never be in the same sentence. what if the Sox are playing the Padres? Can we print "Jon Garland vs Greg Maddux"? Or should we just print "Jon Garland vs an ex Cub, Brave, and Dodger who is really good, much better than Jon Garland"? -
I saw this on Cnn.com the other day. I cant imagine being on the highway and seeing this roar past you. On one hand im sure that some sick part of me would start laughing, but on the other hand one good bump and you would think that wheelchair could dislodge and pull that man under the wheels. its amazing that he survived, thats for sure

QUOTE(BearSox @ Jun 9, 2007 -> 09:04 PM) Dye will still draw some interest for his power and not being overly expensive. But odds are, if he continues to hit this way, we won't get anything in return for him. If he heats up hopefully against NL pitching for the next 2 weeks, I could see the Dodgers making a run for him, and we could probably get a good MLB ready prospect if thats the case. Buehrle is our top trade chip right now, and we could probably get 2-3 really good young players from a contender from him right now. Braves are a possible suiter for him, IMO (Jarrod Salty!). Jose Contreras should have some good trade value as well. He is a veteran with good stuff still and signed for another couple of years, and is putting up good numbers so far this season. He has a no trade clause (limited?) I think, but I could see him waiving it for the Mets because of El Duque. The only problem with that is the Mets rotation has been lights out, but I don't think Hernandez will be dealing like this all season. The Braves are an option as well. Iguchi, we'd be better off keeping, and then deciding in the offseason if he is worth keeping. Mac and Aardsma both could bring something in. Of the two, I'd rather keep Mac because he does have better stuff and I think he is the better overall pitcher. Dye will still draw some interest for his power and not being overly expensive.
