I rarely pay attention to the MLB draft for various reasons, but I do wonder if teams trade and package trade picks to move up in the draft much in the same way NFL and NBA teams do?

Lester Munson was talking about this on ESPNNews last night, and he was pretty amazed that Vick is going to attempt to dictate the plea agreement by not admitting his guilt on the dog-killing and gambling. If he doesnt plead guilty to those crimes, does that mean the feds can still go after him on those seperate offenses that he is not admitting guilt to?

My summer softball league playoffs have been postponed one week, and I think we are going to lose another week as well. Fall league starts tonite, but I doubt we are going to play with as much ground saturation as there is right now. Unless it is 95 degrees all day today with a strong wind, I doubt it will dry up. Its kind of a bummer, we played the entire summer with no rainouts. The playoffs start, and we are completely rained out.
