  1. QUOTE(iWiN4PreP @ Apr 17, 2006 -> 01:34 AM) lol, is it that noticeable? Should I shave it? I was gonna say wash it off..... Keep the upper lip clean-shaven sir, the ladies will appreciate you much more for it.
  2. QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Apr 16, 2006 -> 08:35 PM) IMO, stupidest fine ever. I have yet to see anyone get injured slip and sliding over a slip and slide or a tarp. Buehrle's about fun and it's not like he's out riding a motorcycle or anything like that. I give you Exhibit A
  3. QUOTE(My Dixie Normus @ Apr 16, 2006 -> 10:02 PM) Funny thing was he got Molina by 15 steps. I don't know what the hell he was doing comming up the line but in my baseball days dogging it to first would have been a fine. I think the guy that was playing the piano on his back fell off and he stopped to let him back on. Molina is always that slow. He is usually at the top of the league in grounding into double plays because he is so slow.
  4. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Apr 16, 2006 -> 07:42 PM) Why now? It's not like this is the 1st time I think because he encouraged the fans to get involved, and he cant do that kind of stuff.

  6. So is Philly eliminated as well?
  7. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Apr 16, 2006 -> 09:06 AM) Yeah I posted that about 2 months ago, that Mr "Next Question" was indeed after that for his client. What's the deal with his contract currently? Does he have 1 more year left on his deal? Looking at the money Peterson got, and Arrington's probably gonna get, you can see why he wants so much I guess. Rosenhaus and Angelo have had a pretty good working relationship. I am optimistic that something will get done before the draft. I think that briggs is a RFA after this season, so the bears want to work out an extension before they have to start matching offer sheets.
  8. QUOTE(White Sox Fan For Life @ Apr 14, 2006 -> 11:21 AM) When I am pissed off I do something that will get my mind off it like for example I edit movies with friends. So then when they are not with me I just explore the other techniques of editing so that I can be more adapt to editing movies. editing movies? lol, this scene just popped in my head Kyle: I am so pissed at (insert name)! I know what I will do, I am going to grab the footage from that high school play I was in and edit it. That will cool me off. lol. No offense WSFFL, I have nothing against it at all. It just never occured to me.

Very cool song hi8is. Tool is funny in that you can listen to .001 seconds of a song and identify them. They like to use those unique guitar and bass effects that give them such a surreal sound, and then Maynard steps in and does his thing. They still sound fantastic
  13. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Apr 15, 2006 -> 03:20 PM) Buerhle had a great game, and Kong provided the O. If Kong and Thome are both as dangerous as they appear to be, jesus. No s***. Thome is a little off right now, and Konerko stepped right up. This team is hitting the crap out of the ball.
  14. I will try to explain what gooch did. Imagine the same hit that Uribe fielded to end the world series. Except when the ball landed, it took a ridiculous backspin towards first base, Iguchi was charging and fielded the ball completely offbalance. As he was falling to the ground, literally inches off the ground, Iguchi turned and threw the ball to Konerko to get the out. He was falling towards Jenks, keep in mind. It was amazing, he had no business getting the ball towards first base, much less into Konerkos mitt. Play of the month /year /century.
  15. I was flipping through the 600's of my directv channel guide, and I came across the YES network airing the "Jason Giambi's Grand Slam" game. I was not aware that there was a "Jason Giambi's Grand Slam" game. He hit some grand slam homerun in the 14th inning of a game on 05/17/2002. It wasnt even a playoff game, it was a game in May. You would think a team with such a storied history would have better games to air.

QUOTE(hi8is @ Apr 15, 2006 -> 12:13 PM) anyone hear it yet? thoughts???? this is comming from the biggest TOOL head on this board.... but.... .THIS s***S f***ING AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! whos heard it? what do you think? Whats the name of it so i can try and find it? Im guessing that it is 8 minutes long, 4 minutes of singing, 3 minutes of strange ambient noise, and 1 minute of badass bass-ness.
  17. QUOTE(knightni @ Apr 15, 2006 -> 12:08 PM) What about Babe Shelton? Did you know his teammates call him that?
  18. QUOTE(rventura23 @ Apr 15, 2006 -> 12:00 PM) anybody know the lineup? is BA playing? If you took this, and put it in a time machine and sent it to 2005, it would look like this QUOTE(rventura23 @ Apr 15, 2005 -> 12:00 PM) anybody know the lineup? is Dead playing?
  19. QUOTE(Whitewashed in '05 @ Apr 15, 2006 -> 11:28 AM) Dye didn't help him get out of that ugly inning either... No, Dye's throw to home directly led to that inning being blown open. If Rios hadnt advanced to 2nd base on the throw, the next ball put into play was a tailor made double play ground ball. Vazquez was definitely hurt by Dye's throw.

QUOTE(Chisoxrd5 @ Apr 15, 2006 -> 08:47 AM) Yes it is..but every angle at each park is different. The only time the camera was directly in CF was a few seasons back when ESPN tried it. Everyone complained about that camera too, IIRC. I really dont see a difference in what we have now as opposed to the angle before. I remember when ESPN tried the straight shot centerfield angle, now that really made the umps look bad.
  23. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Apr 14, 2006 -> 06:57 PM) ^^^ Going to school in the 80's and early 90's the teachers were mostly still old bags left over from the stone age. exactly. It was either guys in their 40's, or women who were set to retire one year after I was outta there. My first hot teacher was in college. I had a few TA's in psychology and mass media that were smokin hot. By that time, I was legal!

Isnt the camera always un-centered towards left field?
