Sweeney drilled: Oft-injured Mike Sweeney survived another scare on Tuesday at Yankee Stadium. During the ninth inning, after Mariano Rivera got one out and gave up a single to Mark Grudzielanek, Sweeney was struck in his right hand by a pitch. Sweeney left the game and had the hand wrapped after the game, but X-rays were negative.

The Cubs are now losing 9-0, Will Ohman just gave up a grand slam to Edwin Encarnacion and a solo shot to Adam Kearns back to back. Then, Jacque Jones came off the field because of some non-apparent injury that he suffered while waiting for Michael Wuertz to warm up when he replaced Ohman. f***ing hilarious.
