QUOTE(Steff @ Apr 1, 2006 -> 07:46 AM) Finally saw 40 Year old virgin last night.. that was hysterical. I didn't realize that guy was the guy from The Office. Yeah, it became one of my favorites the first time I watched it. His co-workers had a mean streak in them though

Wrigley sells out bleacher naming rights
QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Mar 31, 2006 -> 01:50 PM) Is this a real news item? the Cubs front office feels that if they put names on sections of seats, then Cubs fans will come in droves to experience the "classiness" and pay extra money. Looks like they were right.

Sources: Texans, Moulds close to deal
QUOTE(ChWRoCk2 @ Mar 31, 2006 -> 02:05 PM) good deal for the texans, johnson didnt do so hot last year and moulds is a solid second option Johnson just hasnt been able to stay healthy. If the Texans had any semblence of an offensive line for the past 4 years then I am convinced they would have been much better than they appear. Think about how many times Carr has been sacked in his career, and then think if he had a chance to get off maybe half of those throws how much better he and the rest of the offense might be. It really is a travesty that it has never seriously been addressed, and it really is a tribute to David Carrs toughness that he has never been seriously injured.

I thought that New Order "Get Ready" was really damn good, it wasnt recieved with the same enthusiasm that they had recieved for previous efforts, but I still thought it was really good.

Joe Borchard update?
QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Mar 31, 2006 -> 01:43 PM) Reed did not break his wrist. Well, strike that misinformed statement from the record. Joe is back to the same situation he was in before, only in a new place.

Joe Borchard update?
QUOTE(Punch and Judy Garland @ Mar 31, 2006 -> 01:37 PM) I for one am hoping he gets traded to Florida. He could end up being the most perplexing player in the history of fantasy baseball. Can you imagine having to consider a CF'er who hits 185 with 30 homers and 30 steals? It'd be insane. I just want to see him get 600 at bats some place and it might not be Seattle where that happens but then it could be. Florida would be a good spot and the Pirates have wanted him for a long time although they have no place for him It was fortunate for Borchard that Reed broke his wrist, because Seattle is going to have to give him some at bats now. Its up to Joe to prove himself now, he has his chance in a new place. Now he has to show what he has got.

Kyle Orton drunk off his ass pictures again
That is quite the beer-belly he is sporting there. That kid is going to drink himself right out of the league. Or, In crazyman-speak, he is going to drink himself right out to the starting position.

Cold Pizza- worst show ever
QUOTE(Confederate_48 @ Mar 31, 2006 -> 01:17 PM) You know your show sucks when it gets moved back later in the day to make room for a radio show. LOL, exactly. Especially when it is supposed to be a morning show.

Walter E. Smithe field????
QUOTE(Steff @ Mar 31, 2006 -> 09:53 AM) Yea, it's a joke. The commercials are beyond stupid. When I saw the first press conference, I thought Steve Phillips was in the middle of the 3 guys. Now THAT would have been funny.

QUOTE(bmags @ Mar 30, 2006 -> 06:11 PM) oh yeah...um...just in case that came out the wrong way...when me and my friends get caught up in a stupid statement we act like we jump through the window (ala superman) to get out of trouble... Speaking of older stuff... I just got the joy division box set. its so depressing Its really cool to think that Joy Division morphed into New Order. Its not cool to think about how the Joy Division lead singer went crazy and offed himself, but listening to the music through the evolution is pretty cool.

The choking game...
QUOTE(Heads22 @ Mar 30, 2006 -> 09:26 AM) I thought that the deal was that kids were....you know.....when they did this because it felt better. I wasn't aware people choked themselves for fun these days. People do it for the euphoric high that results when oxygen is cut off from the brain, I hear it is much like doing any sort of drug to get high. The problem is that if you do it too long, you kill yourself or the person you are doing it too. Some people will try anything for a rush, its really sad. There was a strong feeling that the lead singer of INXS, Michael Hutchence, died doing this sort of thing with his wife. The Australian coroner determined it was a suicide, but I never bought into that. He was found naked, hanging above his bed, and his wife had just gone downstairs. And they were both known to be a lot kinky.

Randy Johnson....father of the year candidate
Im curious as to what the mother asked for, but for RJ to demand that the mother pay back ALL of the child support he paid her, plus 30,000 in interest is just ludicrous and mean. That girl must really have some strong feelings about her father.
