Films
I watched "A History of Violence" last night, and i dont think I have been that dissapointed in a long time. Basically, that movie sucked balls if you ask me. The acting was awful, the plot REALLY REALLY sucked(how can you kill Ed Harris after 10 minutes of screen time? That guy was the only good thing the movie had going. ). Overall, I give it * out of ****. Probably late and been discussed, but I dont care.

WBC claims it's first victim
With the restricted pitch counts in the WBC, I wouldnt think that this would be any different from Ayala pitching in Spring Training. Something was wrong with the guys arm and it finally popped, which is too bad, but I dont think the blame can be placed entirely on the WBC. JMO

QUOTE(RibbieRubarb @ Mar 18, 2006 -> 11:38 AM) He's always commenting on the size of their breasts...it is rather creepy. I always wondered how fathers feel about having uber-hot girls for their daughters. It is creepy that her father said something, but he is right. His daughters have big breasts.

Terrell Owens to the Cowboys?
I think that Bledsoe will be better with TO catching his passes. Bledsoe loves to throw it deep, and TO loves to go deep, it is pretty much a good match. TO may hate on his quarterbacks, but you cannot deny that he makes them much better because of how available he is at all times. If the Cowboys line stays healthy, I can see a 11-13 win campaign for the 'Boys next year.

Computer tech helps catch man with....
If the person who wrote the letter is not involved in the case whatsoever, he/she should be completely ashamed of him/herself. This isnt Big Brother coming down on the man. This is one man protecting the youth and innocence of some child yet to be sexually assaulted by the criminal with the computer. There has been a whole lot of Sexual Predator stings around the world lately, and I think that it is probably the best thing that law enforcement has done in a long time. It is just a sickening thought, all together, of what these POS's are doing.

QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Mar 16, 2006 -> 12:12 AM) Only posted it because I want Illini fans to know I'm picking Washington. Plus they are acting as if its a guaranteed win. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Mar 16, 2006 -> 12:22 AM) Who's they? QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Mar 16, 2006 -> 12:24 AM) I'm no where near an Illini fan but I'll put myself on that list. There, I guaranteed Illinois will make the sweet 16. Ha. You are now "They". lol

Thomas bats
QUOTE(mr_genius @ Mar 17, 2006 -> 12:29 AM) i don't know, eight months seems like a long time to heal up i would agree with you if it wasnt the navicular bone. IIRC, this is the bone that allows your ankle to pivot and move around. The stresses that Thomas consistently puts on his feet when hitting and running(walking) the bases arent conducive to letting that bone heal, especially since he is such a large man. If this were something like breaking a metacarpal in his foot, or even his tibula or fibula, I would think that 8 months would be a very long time for healing. But we have seen the past 3 years, and know how much it has taken out of Thomas. I dont want him to leave the game like this, but I just dont see his body allowing him to continue. He just doesnt recover like he used to.

Starbury gets pwned by Brown
QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Mar 15, 2006 -> 11:38 PM) That would be the best case scenario. I think everybody pretty much knows about Aldridge. But, man, if we could get Brewer, too? That would be an A+++ draft. Brewer is a defensive monster. So what would everyones ideal draft pair be? Aldridge and Brewer? Aldridge and Morrison? Morrison and Brewer?

Isaac Hayes Quits South Park
QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Mar 16, 2006 -> 10:00 AM) I believe in aliens, and I'm not a Scientologist. I'm not saying that they have been here, but with as large as space is, it's crazy to think there isn't life out there someplace else. I am with you. That is actually the exact wording I have used many times. If you look at each star in the sky and think about how many planets could be surrounding each star, the possibility that life exists elsewhere just has to go up. And who knows if they have been here or not, I think that is really inconsequential. If we are so smart and havent been able to reach out and find another planet that could inhabit life, what makes us think that other races havent had the same pitfalls?

Jessica Simpson...
QUOTE(Wong & Owens @ Mar 16, 2006 -> 10:06 AM) I agree, but there ain't no way I believe she used the word 'politicize.' Wayyyy too big of a word for her. her dad is her manager. Im sure there are many quotes attributed to her that she couldnt sound out if she tried.

Official NBA Discussion Thread
QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Mar 15, 2006 -> 09:42 PM) Tim Thomas last night.....10-11 from the field, 23 points. Good thing we got rid of that locker room cancer, his shooting ability and height wouldn't have helped this team at all. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Mar 16, 2006 -> 02:21 AM) He's better than most of the crap we put on the floor these days. It is crap. Crap that he wouldnt practice hard enough, crap that Skiles couldnt push him to play, crap that the bulls got stuck with a 14 million dollar contract, crap that he was a throw in for Antonio Davis, crap that he sat on his ass for half the season and did nothing. The whole thing is crap. Thats all there is to it. You can be mad at everyone in this situation, I know I am.

US Cellular in new sitcom
QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Mar 16, 2006 -> 01:27 AM) I hope the show bombs. For no other reason than one of the main character's interacts with the blonde haired kid from Eurotrip. I can't knowingly support a show where that moron is featured for even several seconds. You know, I feel the same way about the smart kid from Roadtrip that smokes a lot of weed. He was kind of funny in roadtrip, but I saw him on some sitcom and realized that character is his only schtick.

Atlanta Regional
QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Mar 15, 2006 -> 11:50 PM) Well, if they win on Friday I am most likely going to have to miss the game on sunday to go back to school. Then you better hook your car up with a souped up antenna so you can listen to ESPN radio. I used to be able to tune 1000 AM all the way to the Tuscola factory outlet exit with my 85 Blazer(which had the crappiest AM reception in history), and after that you can mess with the dial and tune it in until you get around Mount Vernon, where you can tune in magic 95.1 and get Mike Reis for the rest of the game.
