I read earlier that the rosters were possibly expanding to 14 players instead of 12, is this true?

This will probably get a few laughs, but I seriously think my fellow alum Darren Brooks from SIU will get a serious shot. he may be on the short side (6'3") but the kid is absolutely muscled and was a 2 time MVC player of the year and defensive player of the year. He averaged about 6 steals a game it seemed like, and he was money in the bank when the game was on the line.

Even though everyone is saying Schmidt might be hurt and he was last year and this and that, look at the numbers. Schmidt still pitched 225 innings last year with a 3.20 ERA. Hernandez career high, when he was HEALTHY was only 214 innings. Schmidt is a horse, and Hernandez is a big game gamer, nothing else really. If you look at the past three years without even knowing the names, who would you want? The pitcher that is averaging 200+ innings a year, or the pitcher who didnt even pitch two years ago, barely pitched 80 innings last year, and barely 90 innings 3 years ago? Whats the point of having a "Big Game Pitcher" if he is on the DL more than he is active?

Would Vizquel perform better if put onto a potential playoff contender? Sometimes all it takes is a kick in the ass in the form of a trade to a contender and players perform well beyond expectations. Although Vizquels age and contract are definitely something to take into serious consideration.

All I needed to hear was one quote, and it really turned my stomach. "All of those people who think we are all just spoiled millionaires, well, you are all just jealous." I dont know how that could have been hatcheted and cut up by ESPN, and he clearly stated that they are spoiled millionaires with that quote. We all know that they are all spoiled millionairres,ownership, management, players, ALL of them. But at least the management keeps it at the bargaining table. Roenick is too involved in discussions and talks to be making statements as controversial and heated as they were. And then when the heat is turned on he wants to blame ESPN? f*** hockey.

I think Politte has developed a taste for closing. He is nearly unhittable when runners are in scoring position in tight games. I would trust him no problem. AND, if Politte excelled, I would consider flipping Politte and Hermanson in their roles when Hermanson came back. Politte rules.

In GMK in fact the entire history is turned upside down and Godzilla's symbolism is even changed drastically, and King Ghidorah becomes one of the "saviors" as opposed to his normal role of destruction. No idea why Gamera flies as he does. But if you have not yet, be sure to check out the three Gamera films made in the 90's. They are amazing films with some of the greatest FX work you will ever see. The stories are great, and extremely effective. The third film even played New York a few years ago, and it was so powerful due to the extreme destruction and realism that the people in attendance actually left the theater in tears since it was too close to 9-11. Those films have a connection to GMK as they were done by the same crews. But seriously, I highly recommend them. They are: Gamera: Gaurdian Of the Universe, Gamera: The Advent Of Legion, Gamera: Revenge Of Iris. Of if you have an interest and can't find them, drop me a PM and I will gladly burn you copies. See, glad ya got me started??? Gleason, you are my hero. When i was little I absolutely loved Gamera. I always remember that Gamera would come face to face with the victim of the bad guy (whoever it was) after he saved him/her, and then fly off peacefully to his little hole. Ultraman was a favorite of mine when I could catch it on Saturday mornings, I think it was on Fox. That guy had to have been an early inspiration for the Power Rangers, he looked just like them. Now you see what you got me started on?
