  1. I know a thread was deleted but I have no idea what the specifics of this one was, Wasn't involved with that
  2. You don't mention posters but you keep "subtweeting" me about saying STFU lmao. I regularly interact with you and for the most part we don't argue, no?
  3. When is the last time you were at a Cubs game. If you say over 10 years im done here
  4. Nah you can keep that spot, I really hope your wish doesn't come true LOL no offense. That would genuinely lock up the downtown every time there was a game
  5. Nah, that kind of traffic in that spot for 81 games is a nightmare. I'm good with ghosting Soldier field and let them do something else with it
  6. They kind of did but the doubleheader's are making it bad
  7. I agree it isn't likely, but it isn't just Hoge wishing for it anymore. I heard a nfl writer on the score the other day talking about it too. and for sure tons of hoops to jump through to get there

His up and in fastball to RHH is almost unhittable when he is in that 96-98 mph range we have been seeing from him.
  9. Yea they do, after this week it's a bunch of games in a row, I believe 28 games in 27 days because of doubleheader's

Maybe be have different definitions of rode hard and put away wet. To me that's like letting the dude complete multiple games over 130 pitches just because the other team has 2 or fewer runs. The numbers you are showing me look like a plan by the White Sox to increase his innings with a manageable workload every season

For an ace expected to go 7 plus every game, I don't think so.

    Rodon

He was averaging around 107 pitches a game, considering he built his arm up exactly for that I'm really not seeing how they rode him hard. His pitches per game is remarkably consistent that year https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/gl.fcgi?id=salech01&t=p&year=2016 and again, the White Sox always preached saving his arm, he goes to Boston and starts throwing 99 consistently again and his arm finally gives out. Hard for me to say the White Sox played into that

Wait what? Sale was locked up to a deal that went two more seasons when they dealt him, and the Sox were super careful with how they pitched him, if his arm showed any fatigue or if he complained of forearm tightness they rested him. if anyone did the "rode hard and put away wet" plan with him, it was Boston. Chicago had him dial down his velocity to preserve his arm and he gave them 7 good years, Boston said throw as hard as you want and his arm blew up in 2.
  15. We have been doing winners threads since at least 05
  16. Keller is amped up, probably wants to respond to a bunch of tweets from Sox fans he has waited on
  17. They did a mock Terminator commercial with Yermin it was great
  18. Oh here I was thinking this would end without petty name calling.
