  1. For his next trick, Trump will be selecting Tea Leoni as SoS because she is in a show called Madam Secretary. Love putting Carson into a position where he himself says he isnt ready for. wheeeeeeeeeeeee lets go this is fun
  2. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Dec 4, 2016 -> 08:22 PM) I'll throw up if Nationals get Cutch and Sale without trading Sale. would you throw up because of how confusing this post is?
  3. Goldman, Hicks, and Floyd were just beasts yesterday, it was fun to watch.
  4. I have to think Abbattacola has the inside track. He doesnt take Bernsteins crap, longtime producer that has been hosting weekend shows for a long time, he just seems like he would be the choice. Not a fan of it though, he trolls hard. Bernstein is a genuine crank that irritates people naturally, Abbattacola tries hard.
  5. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Dec 2, 2016 -> 07:03 AM) This game could be the GOAT. I was actually a little worried based on the E3 vidoes that the game might have a big open world but be a boring mess. However, there appears to be a lot more depth to this game than they originally let on, they're just trying to not give too much away (should have been obvious to me). Easily my most anticipated game for 2017. That last scene with Link kneeling and a female character next to him almost out of the picture, I wonder if that is Zelda/Sheik or that Linkle character
  6. QUOTE (GreenSox @ Dec 2, 2016 -> 06:58 AM) Eaton was more serious and more productive last year; perhaps a result of further declowning of the 25 man (Alexei, e.g.). Trad him, yes, if someone wants to pay for a 5 WAR player( which I Doubt). Sale and the vets should bring sufficient fresh talent to revitalize this org. It's a lot more to trade than the Cubs or Astros had (although premiums are often better achieved In July, esp for short term vets). Q and Eaton would be solid building blocks. Note that the Astros held back Altuve in their dispersal and rebuilding. The Sox were bad last year because Hahn has not built the Sox up the middle (affirmatively downgraded catcher and filled CF late last year). The staff and pen were each 3 deep. The org had no depth. ha, he sideways admits he was wrong about Eaton all along and still cant give Hahn credit for keeping him, when all season he crushed Hahn for not trading him "at his highest value it will get no higher"
  7. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 1, 2016 -> 09:06 PM) Tell me more? I loved the game, just burnt out. http://m.ign.com/articles/2016/11/27/full-...h-now-available
  8. His bears career will end much like it began it seems, with multiple inexplicable interceptions and turnovers
  9. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 1, 2016 -> 07:19 AM) I finally dug in and decided to beat GTA 5. I'm done with Michael's missions and have about 4 left between Franklin and Trevor. This game is just bananas in its depth. Truly an unreal experience. Looking forward to RDR2 next year. did you go back to No Mans Sky after the update? I have been reading about it, seems it is bringing back a lot of players that dropped the game early on
  10. Lets keep filibuster talk in the filibuster. And no personal attacks
  11. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Nov 30, 2016 -> 01:52 PM) I'm in as long as I don't get stuck with you on my team. maybe afterwards you can showcase your mad kickball skills
  12. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Nov 30, 2016 -> 12:49 PM) It's all but a lock the Cubs trade for Familia at the deadline in 2017. they love some domestic abuser closers from NY. But hey, it worked once
  13. QUOTE (Ro Da Don @ Nov 30, 2016 -> 09:07 AM) Yeah, but then he got picked immediately after we picked. There's a big difference. It's not like Trout was a 3rd rounder and I'm saying this. We had him right in our grasp for the taking. Thats not a big difference. 24 GMs had the same misguided opinion about Trout, and who knows, maybe a few after the 25th pick would have thought the same thing. But you are hanging it on KW like he was the only one, when he was not
  14. QUOTE (Ro Da Don @ Nov 30, 2016 -> 08:58 AM) Lol but you don't mention that he picked Jared Mitchell over Mike freaking Trout and passes on Corey Seager for Courtney Hawkins? Sure Sale is a good move. Sure. But maybe his only good draft choice in his entire time as GM. He's had more garbage moves that have hurt us long-term than good ones that allowed us to be consistent contenders - contrary to KW and JR's dreams about that. Hahn clearly has a passive personality if you've ever seen him take a media. KW has the more domineering personality. Besides, KW is his damn boss. Do you think Hahn just has been preaching "long-term, sustainable success" and doing a completely other thing because he wants to? No, because his bosses make him do so. 24 teams passed on Mike freaking Trout, lets not act like this is picking Sam Bowie over Jordan in the top 3
  15. QUOTE (JenksIsMyHero @ Nov 29, 2016 -> 03:15 PM) The question is does he know that he does not have that control ? there are still a lot of questions yet to be answered
  16. QUOTE (JenksIsMyHero @ Nov 29, 2016 -> 02:50 PM) One thing I still don't get re Westworld:
  17. it is pretty disappointing that we are going to have to wait until 2018 for season 2. It started slow but now that things are happening i dont want it to end
  18. its funny how Olney ranges from "talking out his ass" to "solid in his reporting" depending on the info lol
  19. JFC has trump picked one person for his Cabinet that doesnt have a conflict of interest?
  20. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 29, 2016 -> 09:20 AM) I can't get 2014 or 2013 data to load here this morning, but per this site the Bears are in the top 5 in injured reserve losses both of the last 2 years, but not at the top either year. It doesnt make sense, and you would think the bears would be due a couple years of good luck. but those years just never seem to get here. If it was like that first lovie season where everyone got pulled hamstrings in like the first week of practice and it continued through the year i would be all about blaming the trainers, but you go down the list of these players and see how they got hurt and it just doesnt seem like they could do much to help. I forgot to add Zack Miller and he got his foot stepped on two games ago and broken as well.
  21. Oh no not the red eye Anything but that
  22. QUOTE (bmags @ Nov 28, 2016 -> 03:22 PM) 3 years of many different types of injuries makes it difficult to agree it's just luck and a physical game. They have also routinely underestimated healing time on their players during this period. Shoulder injuries, foot injuries, knee injuries, finger injuries arm injuries. Its bizarre I agree, but we have seen the replays of all of it. Sitton, Long, Goldman, White all got rolled up. Trevathan iirc got hit in the pile. Floyd brained himself on another guys hip. Wilson broke his foot in like the first day of preseason practice running. Fuller, who knows I dont know what to say but it isnt like everyone is out due to soft tissue injuries. Everything happening this season has been legit bad luck. Its f***ed up
