QUOTE (Joshua Strong @ Apr 20, 2015 -> 12:29 PM) What don't you like about it? That is Sucker Punch with Superman and Batman. Snyder is about to Michael Bay the DC universe

Im excited for star wars because I read a lot of the post RotJ books, and I have a pretty good idea where the story is going. And it certainly is not a nostalgia piece(if I am right), its a new start, and a very good one at that.

QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 12:36 PM) Give me the stud position player that plays 155 games per season over the stud that is an injury risk every time they take the mound and only pitches 32-36 times per year. Pitching wins world series.

QUOTE (lasttriptotulsa @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 09:08 AM) Not really. Then the DH just moves to catcher and your pitcher has to hit the rest of the game. Not really that big of a deal for one game in the rare instance that the starting catcher would get hurt. Murphys law would dictate that it would happen to the Sox, and the pitcher spot would end up costing them

QUOTE (woods of ypres @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 09:20 AM) I'll be there. Hoping to end my 7 game attendance losing streak, haven't seen a win IRL since 2010. Soxtalk.com sign in the crowd. Its a must

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 16, 2015 -> 04:29 PM) LOL, it's fine to be sarcastic...but we still need to take care of business and win at least 1/3 in DET (likely the Sale start). And Chris has had his share of struggles with the Tigers in DET as well, but maybe this is a case of selective memory from watching one particular Saturday national game start. Also, recently heard the White Sox are 10 games over since 2012 in Chris Sale starts and something like 40-45 games under in games started by all other pitchers. Career 2-2 3.26 ERA 38.2 IP 45K 1.241 WHIP His worst away parks are Baltimore, Texas, Cleveland, and LAD

QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 08:59 AM) Doesn't seem like LaRoche will have much of a chance against Price. Against nasty lefties like Price, I wouldn't mind Flowers/Soto both being in the lineup at C/DH. That wouldnt happen, if whoever is playing C gets injured they are screwed

QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 08:50 AM) That's right. You've heard of it? I'll be playing for the Marlins. a few of my teammates have played in that league. Their championship series was played in Miller Park. But they got tired of the travel every weekend and ended up playing softball with me, natural progression -

QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Apr 17, 2015 -> 07:41 AM) Lol, I've done that before but in basketball. I tried to cut to the ball and my entire foot comes out of my shoe. I joined a men's league baseball team ages ranging from 22-50 on my team lol. First game this Sunday, we'll see how it goes. Midwest league? -

Spring season finally began for us. Last night i hit a shot past the right fielder and as i was rounding first i blew out my cleats, that was a first. On my instep the shoe tore open pretty much from toe to heel. I ended up with a triple but i would have had a homer easy if that didnt happen -
QUOTE (bmags @ Apr 16, 2015 -> 12:09 PM) Taj's shoulder, Taj's reoccuring ankles, Noah's mysterious minor surgery that affected his entire 2015 season, McDermotts back, Rose's hamstring, the seemingly every day injury to Hinrich, Butlers lingering foot and thumb injuries, the players that continue to go out to play after clearly having a play that caused the injury. You lay all of these things on the training staff. lmao. Taj sat out for what, 3 months? Noah waited by his own choice to get the surgery, because he wanted to play in the FIBA games. McDermotts back? Didnt he have a knee scoped. But thats alright, apparently each player who has any sort of injury should sit indefinitely until the injury is 100 percent. Got it.

QUOTE (bmags @ Apr 16, 2015 -> 11:50 AM) Would the bulls staff have caught the blood clots in the lungs? Clearly other players view the bulls trainers this way, and shooting taj up with a cortisone shot at halftime doesn't help your view of this awesome staff. The fact that they were so active in trying to help the health of a team and did a terrible job does not help your point, it hurts it. They are not good at their jobs. If they were, the starters would not have only started 16 games together. So tell me which bulls injury that they could have caught prior to and prevented? and I dont think they are awesome, they clearly have messed up a few major injuries(which all fell under Tedeschi)

While it doesnt hurt to hire someone to help with stealing bases, I think there is a lot of it that is completely instinctive and just cannot be taught. When Coleman talks about stealing bases in his interview, you can tell that he sees it a lot differently than the average player, he looks for tells and motions from pitchers that normal guys dont think to look for, much less see. I dont really blame him for things happening like Abreu getting nailed at 3rd or Eaton getting thrown out at home to finish the game. In fact, i would be blaming McEwing if I was going to blame anyone

QUOTE (bmags @ Apr 16, 2015 -> 10:42 AM) Yes, it's so weird, Bulls just have such bad luck year after year. Wellp, nothing we can do. And obviously every other team remains completely healthy. Does Bosh hate the Heat staff that Deng loves, because he got blood clots in his lungs? OMG fire everyone in the Thunder medical staff because Russ and Durant keep alternating getting hurt and they didnt make the playoffs. The bulls changed everything this season to keep the team healthy. Minutes, personnel, players. Its a tough game, its a grind, people get hurt. Get over it, you act like this staff is a bunch of ex horse trainers shooting up players with horse painkillers and pushing them out on the court

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Apr 16, 2015 -> 09:48 AM) Hasn't the Bulls staff changed since Loul damn near died? it has changed a lot.
