  1. I would say "Why dont the Bulls FO just come out and say he is unavailable so this nonsense can stop" But, it is the Bulls front office.
  2. QUOTE (bmags @ May 9, 2014 -> 01:15 PM) why not just trade up to get the top 15 player if you want value? They must have two players in mind
  3. We may not like Cena, but you have to respect the guy for how much effort he puts forth being the face of the WWE product. If what she wrote is true, Punk cant handle it.
  4. QUOTE (bmags @ May 9, 2014 -> 10:24 AM) That was us. I clamored for NFL Network but people didn't want to have to listen to Mariucci. He's bad but Gruden's crying for Manziel was worse than even Berman. And Ray Lewis was just spitting nonsense all day. Ray Lewis is the NFL version of the Ultimate Warrior when he talks. WTF did he just say? I dont know, but it was intense. I think he talked about the sun bleeding.
  5. What is the knock on Hageman, motor? Because the guy is a giant, isnt he?
  6. QUOTE (bmags @ May 9, 2014 -> 09:13 AM) So, seems we have a trend: Shea - "Football Player" who could play with his hand on the ground or as a rushing OLB Kyle Long - G for now but could play T later Kyle Fuller - "Football Player" who can play nickel now and S later Personally I'd rather grab people who have specialized at a position. I'm not thrilled with Fuller, I'd rather have traded down if available. I really wanted Donald and unfortunately the worst city in the world struck again. I havent heard that much, not nearly as much as "will replace Peanut"
  7. I wish McCarthys hot wife would be there. and shown on TV a lot

  9. We had a bad first game, came out really flat and lost 22-10. I went 2/4 with a double and got robbed by a shoestring catch.
  10. He may not have been what we expected, but Fuller wasn't a reach. He was projected to the Bears by a few mock drafts and generally projected to be picked around that spot. it isn't like we were blindsided by a big reach, like the previous two years. A replacement for Peanut is a good idea. I wanted safety as well, and I am bummed that the big safeties(Pryor, Ward, Bucannon, Dix) got picked, hopefully they find a good one with one of the next few picks
  11. QUOTE (greg775 @ May 8, 2014 -> 10:38 PM) He's conceded games before like the infamous run out of pitcher game. Except he didn't concede that game and he ran out of pitchers because none of them could throw strikes. But don't let facts get in the way of your arguments
  12. Well, good night to this game thread. It was a nice run flavum
  13. Cleto has no clue where it is going
  14. Ok Cleto. It's been fun. Good bye now
  15. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 8, 2014 -> 12:36 PM) The New York Daily News welcomed the hiring of Torre with a huge headline that said, "CLUELESS JOE." The subhead read, "Torre Has No Idea What He's Getting Himself Into." It referenced a column written by Ian O'Connor in which O'Connor said that Torre "came across as naïve at best, desperate at worst." Wrote O'Connor, "It's always a sad occasion when man becomes muppet." I guess he was better than at least one writer thought. I wouldn't be surprised to see those thoughts and sentiments AFTER he won all of those games and World Series
  16. Thought I would share this with you guys http://www.roverplusnine.com/mm5/merchant....-dye-sub-shirts order of 12 brings price to 40 per jersey, fully customizable

QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ May 8, 2014 -> 01:11 PM) I second the notion that drinking beer in the middle of the field of a large football stadium is excellent. If you want to go, PM me. this ticket is going to be a lot cheaper than the purchase price. significantly lower

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Feb 12, 2014 -> 12:49 PM) http://americanbeerclassic.com/ if anyone ends up doing this let me know. I went last year to the first session and we had a great time, it was very cool drinking beer on Soldier field *bump* anyone going? Im going to the first session. I also have an extra ticket if anyone is interested. PM me.
  19. I never heard that Goldberg story. I did enjoy when William Regal wrestled stiff and potatoed him during the streak, and pretty much no-sold the spear.
  20. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ May 8, 2014 -> 12:15 PM) I see your point, I just laugh at people that talk about B and B like it's the worst thing ever, yet somehow they never listen, never have listened, but know everything that is said on the show, good bad or indifferent. So they take their hate of Bernstein, and any opinion or anything he ever says, is wrong. As is shown with this silly "OMG HE'S A CUBS FAN BECAUSE HE SAID A NICE THING ABOUT THEO" thing we have going on right now. It isnt the worst thing ever. I just feel it could be so much better, and they have relaxed because they are pretty much undisputed. And the article he wrote, to me at least, is bothersome because it really is meant to troll, and I think he could be better than that.
  21. QUOTE (Soxfest @ May 8, 2014 -> 11:01 AM) Last night it was reported that Sheamus and Sin Cara (Hunico) had some kind of altercation backstage at this week's TV tapings. According to wrestlezone.com , the fight did not take pace at this week's TV tapings. The altercation reportedly took place a few weeks ago, and news just got out this week. Sources within WWE have stated that the altercation did take place, and that if the fight had not been broken up, it could have "gotten really bad" for Sheamus. The two have reportedly cleared the air and all is now well. Meaning he would have gotten his ass beat??? If so, that is really sad for Sheamus, because he is probably twice the size of Sin Cara
  22. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ May 8, 2014 -> 12:07 PM) You never listen to him, how would you know? How can you comment on something when you don't know what's said? i listen to him, and a lot of it is true. It really is sad to me that he had CBS turn off the comments sections on his articles, and it really bothers me when he hides behind "I dont care what you say, we get ratings so you dont matter" He can be funny, he can be informative, but unfortunately he has started to lean on the very idealogy that he hates, meatball thinking. He wants to make a large argumentative statement, and then refuse to allow the argument to happen. Unfortunately there is absolutely no competition to push him to be better than that, because I believe he can be(and has been) better than that.
  23. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 8, 2014 -> 09:26 AM) And the next Walt Disney movie, starring Kurt Warner's wife as Carroll's mom. wut
  24. Word is that Lovie really likes Donald and will not let him get past the Bucs
