  1. Honest question, why isnt there a NHL franchise in Wisconsin? It would seem to me that would be a good place to have one, they are pretty hockey crazy
  2. Just win. Please.
  3. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 24, 2014 -> 12:54 PM) Homered in his first AB today. I sincerely hope he ends up making previous flops like Gary Scott and Kevin Orie look small in comparison to how much he flops. He has to be one of the better power hitting prospects in a while though. overall 85Ks and 26 homeruns in 266 ABs. The guy is truly all or nothing right now
  4. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jun 24, 2014 -> 11:18 AM) Those are Dunn type numbers without the walks legendary
  5. Bryants numbers are hilarious. 4 hits, 4 homers, 8 Ks, 2 walks, 18 AB
  6. QUOTE (gatnom @ Jun 24, 2014 -> 09:04 AM) But how much money will he be making if he straight out busts? And how much development time is he really losing when most seem to think he can pitch out of the bullpen right now? I'm not saying it's necessarily the best decision, but I can't fault him like everybody here on their high horse. Really, he would do that for like 3 months at the very longest. Did it hurt David Price's development? He isnt going to spend years in the pen, only a cup of coffee at the end of the year.
  7. Abreu is an absurd offensive force
  8. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jun 24, 2014 -> 09:03 AM) The guys on ESPN (Broussard/Windhorst) were on Mike & Mike this morning and basically said a Lebron/Melo pairing is impossible. No team has enough cap space to make it work. If both take the max. If someone truly takes less......
  9. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jun 24, 2014 -> 08:28 AM) Marcell Dareus can speed and have drugs and he still has a roster spot because he's good. When someone like Cornelius Washington does s*** like this, they end up getting released and stuff. exactly. bubble players need to stay out of the police blotter, even if they are gentlemen to the officer.
  10. http://www.windycitygridiron.com/2014/6/23...utm_source=t.co So stupid
  11. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jun 23, 2014 -> 09:54 PM) Good because you have a 4 on 3 handicap match to end tonight. You know what I mean. Forcing excess superstars, criss crossing angles to create a good vs bad main event. They rarely let specific angles end shows
  12. I hate the end of the show 3 on 3 tags matches. Forced angles good vs bad bs.
  13. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 23, 2014 -> 09:28 PM) I know we've only seen him for 3 months, but Belisario doesn't seem to like to throw his breaking pitch low and in to lefties. As you mentioned, that would be a great pitch to any lefty. Instead, he seems to like to try to use the backdoor slider a lot. Belisario is simply not a closer, and should not be the closer. He was fine when he adjusted to the 8th inning, and has done nothing but walk a tightrope as the closer now. Webb or Guerra need to be given a chance
  14. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 23, 2014 -> 09:22 PM) Even then, why throw anything slow and low to Davis? He's a notorious low ball hitter. Belisario has a mediocre breaking pitch, as his fastball is easily his best pitch. That whole AB, Davis seemed to be looking for something slow. A low and in slider is brutal to lefties, but Belisario threw a terrible pitch over the plate that was jacked. Belisario gave up a single, HbP and a home run. The last pitch called obviously wasn't the only bad thing happening
  15. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 23, 2014 -> 09:21 PM) Just keep Sale healthy...at this point, it's all about the core developing. This team isn't competing for anything this season, so it's all about development. Yea, that has been what it has been about all season.
  16. QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Jun 23, 2014 -> 09:20 PM) That pitch tho... wow It was f***ing terrible. I think Belisario has more than proved he cannot close
  17. I'm sure they called for a hanging slider down the middle of the plate, and it wasn't called low and in where RB missed his spot because he sucks
  18. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 23, 2014 -> 09:16 PM) The person responsible for calling that pitch should be fired/released immediately. Whatever
  19. Dear Santa I would like a closer Sincerely white sox
  20. QUOTE (Feeky Magee @ Jun 23, 2014 -> 08:26 PM) My god, where was he playing, CF?! They were playing the gaps big time
  21. Alexei has been swinging at a lot of pitches up near his eye level recently
  22. Sale is a damn magician tonite.
  23. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jun 23, 2014 -> 02:35 PM) That was probably Kyyle, he likes to look at threads and then lock them from his phone because he's a jerkface. I like the idea of bringing in Turner too. He's a little reminiscent of Homer Bailey. it probably was me. but i will blame you because then TUC can get all mad at you again
  24. TUC and Wite just had a bro hug moment
