You know you yourself can make your own power rankings on the same site. I did as did others. According to the national poll made by other visitors from the site, the Sox are ranked 10th. ESPN has always been anti-Sox. They're just a bunch of nimrods. I won't watch Baseball Tonight again until Gammons and Reynolds are canned. CWSOX45

Buehrle will get em tomorrow. Just one game, we're gonna lose at least 50 more... CWSOX45

The glass is always half empty with you isn't it? CWSOX45

THANKYOU! May I remind some of you that every team has games like this, we just gotta come back and win tomorrow. CWSOX45

You're kidding right? It's one damn game. Jesus Christ! We don't have lifeless Manuel in the dugout anymore. People make it sound as if we're 7 games under .500 instead of 7 over. CWSOX45

Do we have a rally mcflurry? What the hell have we been using around here? CWSOX45

You aren't the only one. :headshake :puke Let's hope we can pull a comeback win out of our asses somehow.....it can be done! CWSOX45

I honestly think that Reed could be this years Miguel Cabrera. If the Sox are in contention than I say just bring him up in June to see what he can do, I know theres no roster spot, but we can figure something out. If he keeps hitting .380 all the way til June it's pointless to keep him down there. Until then I'm satisfied with Rowand, Ordonez and Lee CWSOX45

I don't get it, it's one freaking game and some of us are talking about how we were doomed after that opening day loss....Jesus Christ! It's one damn game! Everyone in our league will lose to Cleveland at least once, last night Garland didn't catch any breaks. Most of those hits he gave up were just ducksnorts, only 4 of them were really hit hard. The bullpen has been great for us this season, so they had a s***ty night last night....WHO CARES!? This team never gives up, and I love it. Look for Scott "The Show" to take care of business for us again today. The Sox have never been a team that gets on a roll in April, our winning streaks come during the Dog days of summer. Just wait, we'll get our winning streak soon enough. GO SOX CWSOX45

With the way the team is playing right now I think it would be a huge mistake to make any moves. Rowand has been playing fine, Carlos still hustles his ass off and Mags is well, Maggs. Timo Perez has played stellar defense for us, and he's a great fourth outfielder. In my opinion we don't NEED Reed right now. I say let him play a majority of the season down there. Now if one of our outfielders gets injured than it's a different story, Reed should be the first one called up. I don't want Kenny to make a move until close to the trading deadline. Now for the 5th spot in that rotation, I want Cottsy in there so bad it's not even funny. However, I'd give Wright a couple more starts, if he can't take care of business against Tampa then move him to the pen. As for Willie Harris, I think it's only a matter of time before he comes around. Let's hope it's this year. If not I'm all for acquiring a guy like Vidro or Spivey. CWSOX45

Reading s*** like this just boils my blood, we should send an e-mail of this to Ozzie. CWSOX45 :fyou Yankees

I just read on White Sox Interactive that Kelly Wunsch is supposed to come off the DL this week. Here's the question: Who gets sent down? I like the way Adkins and Cotts have pitched, and if you ask me the only one that deserves to get his ass shipped out of her is Koch. CWSOX45

Am I the only one that is pumped about the 3-3 road trip? I'm extremely pleased with splitting with New York. Now we come home for three and hopefully we can take 2 of 3, if not all 3. I'll be there opening day because I got tickets for an Easter present!! YESSS!! CWSOX45

For one day? I'd probably make a deal with the Orioles to acquire Brian Roberts or Jerry Hairston Jr. If that couldn't be done I'd try to swing a deal and get Chone Figgins from Anaheim. I'm not giving up on Willie yet, and yesterdays game was an improvement, but it's nice to have someone with experience leading off. Now if we're talking about being a GM for a couple of years, than that would be a different story... 1 Roberts 2B 2 Rowand CF 3 Ordoñez RF 4 Thomas DH 5 Lee LF 6 Konerko 1B 7 Crede 3B 8 Valentin SS 9 Olivo I would make no drastic changes to our pitching staff. I like what I've seen SO far from the rotation and the bullpen has been satisfactory. CWSOX45

Don't get me wrong, I'm upset right now. Who the hell isn't? We were up 7-2 and looked GREAT. Than POOF! s*** happends. I'm not saying that I think we're going to lose like that every game, I still think this team is capable of kicking some serious ass and making the post-season. Thank god for these boards though, otherwise I'd have no where to vent. Here's to Wed. CWSOX45
-
I agree. I wouldn't be as upset if we just flat out lost today, but there's no reason for this type of collapse. Oh well, we better win on Wed. CWSOX45

Well who else were we going to put in? I still don't feel comfortable with Koch closing out the game with two runners in scoring position. I would have never thought that Marte would have given up 2 bombs today..... I just hope we come back and kick their ass on wednesday. We did everything right today, except for that damn 9th inning. CWSOX45
-
Crap I missed the last inning, the idiot I work with told me Koch blew it. The mods can delete this thread please. There's going to be enough ranting and raving anyways we don't need this one. CWSOX45 SORRY

Looked like the same ol Billy Botch to me. This game was like a damn re-run of last years opening day.... :headshake :banghead CWSOX45

My advice is to call the Sox/Bulls training academy in Lisle. They should be able to give you some help. CWSOX45

Yeah but last year we had a manager with the intensity of a goldfish. Now we have Ozzie, sure he may be inexperienced, but at least we won't see any more friggen corpseball. CWSOX45

Just wait until a guy named Joe Blanton gets the call up......that rotation is only going to get better.... CWSOX45

Hey all. Thought I'd post these articles from the Daily Herald, had some pretty good coverage of our Sox. This link below is an article written by Barry Rozner, a columnist I actually have a tad bit of respect for. He writes about why Sox fans ought to be optimistic about our 2004 campaign. http://www.dailyherald.com/sports/col_rozn...?intid=38077195 This article is just some notes on the Sox, it talks about Mark Buehrle's latest outing, how Shingo is finally starting to put it all together, and some information on Kelly Wunsch's sore shoulder and back. http://www.dailyherald.com/sports/sox.asp?intID=38077133 Lastly the third article is about how the Sox have been crushing the baseball down in Arizona. I was surprised to hear that we have the highest batting average in the American League so far in Spring training. http://www.dailyherald.com/sports/sox.asp?intID=38077132 Check all these out, they're good reads!!
