Base hit for Borchard, a smash up the middle. You can cancel the postgame show. CWSOX45

http://www.620ktar.com/streaming/index.aspx I downloaded something from this station in Arizona. It lets me listen to the game, just fill out the registration with some fake info and you'll be good to go. Lee grounds out to Hillenbrand. Borchard now batting. CWSOX45

Paulie flies out to Bautista. CWSOX45

Show K's Sexson. End of 1. Sox 0, D'backs 0. I can't do play by play that long, so if someone wants to take over I'd appreciate it. CWSOX45
-
2-out walk to Luis Gonzalez, Richie Sexson now batting. D'Backs announcer are talking about how Jim Parque has a chance to win that 5th starter spot. CWSOX45

WOW! When is the last time we could say that about our starting pitching staff? Has Shoe gotten a chance to pitch yet? I hope he can keep it up. CWSOX45

He's been floating around our minor league system for awhile, I remember Hawk talking about him while he was in Birmingham. He said that Mario can "flat out hit" and Hawk said something of the nature like "He's almost just like our very own Carlos Lee." I hope Mario makes this team. CWSOX45

I've been on the Mario Valenzuela bandwagon for awhile, the guy has done nothing but hit. I hope he can stay healthy, if it comes down to Valenzuela and Bernard for the 4th spot I'd like to see the Sox give Valenzuela a shot. Even though Bernard's defense is superior to Valenzuela's. (I'm just assuming, never seen Valenzuela play the field.) CWSOX45

I'd rather let Garland start the season at Yankee Stadium, I don't like the idea of Shoe out there considering it would be his first actual start in a long time. CWSOX45

First off you don't know anything about me. To assume I'm a homosexual is so f***ing ignorant it makes me want to hurl. Your stupidity is overwhelming to me, and this will be the last time I ever respond to your ignorant ass. I have two words left to say to you and that is all: f*** OFF! :finger CWSOX45

I agree. This guy is as pathetic as they come. He spends most of his time cramming Kotex boy's mail box full of spam and trying to pick fights with other board members. I think it's time to have his plug pulled. CWSOX45

Ah as I was expecting, a childish insult. I'm not gay either, and calling someone out like that is inappropriate. Get a f***ing clue, and cut the s***. CWSOX45

Is the child having another tantrum? We all knew it was only a matter of time...... CWSOX45

Hey guys. I've got a question, It has do to with the Sox, but feel free to move it to the off-topic board if any of the mods want to. Does anyone know where I can find a soundbyte of Hawk screaming "HE GAWN!" I would like to put that on my voicemail for my cell phone....LOL. Well I don't really know where to look, so if anyone has any idea where to find one I'd greatly appreciate. I don't have any tapes from past games either, so count that option out. CWSOX45

"Are you a female" No, and why the hell would it matter if I was? (Note: See that squiggly mark with a dot underneath it, it's called a question mark. They go at the end of questions.) There are plenty of women on this site that know a lot about baseball. (HSC, Steff, Heather Lee) The only reason I said something about your post was because I didn't like the way you singled someone out. "Hey, one man's trash is another man's treasure." Terry Adams trash? The guy had a 2.65 E.R.A. last year for the Phillies, Ligtenberg had a E.R.A. of 3.34 in 59 innings pitched he struck out 47 and allowed 14 BB's. I wouldn't call that trash. "You forgot a few people. Look into it." I did mention that the Twins traded Milton to re-establish their bullpen by that I meant to include Guardado and Hawkins. If you want you can even throw Tony Fiore's name in there too. The Twins got Carlos Silva, Kevin Tolar, Joe Nathan, and guys like Brad Thomas will get a chance in that pen. Are they as solid as LaTroy and everyday Eddie? Hell no, but could the Twins bullpen still be solid this year? I think you can almost book it. "Boof Bonser? Hahahahhahahhahaa" And yes Boof Bonser, the kid may have a wacky name but he's going to be a stud. I won't be laughing if he lives up to his hype. CWSOX45

Here's Baltimores rotation as of right now: Ponson Lopez (so he had a s***ty year last year, check out his numbers from two years ago. The kid isn't bad.) Ainsworth (A highly touted prospect with the Giants, he'll do well for them.) Matt Riley (A kid that hasn't seen a lot of time in the big leagues, was brought up for one start last year. Pitched 5.0 Innings allowing only three hits.) Eric DuBose (another youngster that played 17 games and only started 10. in 73 innings he only allowed 31 earned runs, striking out 44 and only walking 25. Finished with a record of 3-6 with one complete game and an e.r.a. of 3.79) As you can see their rotation isn't as bad as you make it sound. Who in the hell thought Kansas City would do so well last year looking at their rotation in spring training? Anything can happen. Also just to let you know last time I checked this was a personal power ranking. It's one thing to disagree with someone, but to put someone on the spot and criticize them is inappropriate (mmbeer comment). I think we'd all appreciate it if you grew up a little. Now I'll just say I agree with most of your rankings, but I disagree about the: Bluejays: The Jays added Miguel Basista, who in my opinion would have made our rotation the best in the central. Basista has always put up solid numbers with Zona. The Jays also acquired Ted Lilly, who has always pitched pretty well in the Major Leagues, not to mention the journey man Pat Hentgen which gives them more experience and the once highly touted Orioles prospect Josh Towers. The Jays also added depth to their pen by signing Terry Adams, Kerry Ligtenberg, Valerio De Los Santos, and closer Justin Spier. The Giants: How are they the dumbest team this off-season? They acquired possibly the best catcher in the American League in A.J. Pierzynski, they still have a good 1, 2, 3 rotation with Schmidt, Reuter, and the young stud Jerome Williams. The Giants pen is also still strong, they won't feel the loss of Nathan unless Nenn gets injured again. If that does happen they still have Rodriguez to fill in the closer spot and still have Zerbe and others that can contribute. Minnesota: In my opinion Minnesota is still the team to beat in this division. The only two key guys that they lost were Pierzynski and Milton. They also acquired a great pitching prospect in Boof Bonsor from the Giants, and re-established their bullpen by dealing Milton to the Phillies. CWSOX45

Does anyone know where I can find the players scheduled to appear on Sunday? I looked at the Whitesox.com but couldn't find a detailed schedule with the times and players that will appear. Any help would be appreciated. CWSOX45

I actually worked at the Kane County Cougars (A's single-a affiliate) during the summer and I was fortunate enough to see Blanton pitch. Blanton has some good stuff, and incredible control. I really don't know what the hell Kenny Williams was thinking.... CWSOX45

I'm not sure if anyone else has heard this, but I overheard that Kenny will be speaking on ESPN 1000 tomorrow around 4. I won't be able to listen, so if he does happen to speak I'd appreciate it if someone could fill us all in. Thanks. Sorry if this has been mentioned in another thread. CWSOX45

Easy, look at the other teams in our division. What have they done to better themselves? Sure the Twins got some pretty good prospects in the trade for Pierzynski, and got some more arms for their pen, but they are worse than last years team that won 90 games. As for Kansas City, jesus look at their staff. It's the same staff we absolutly crushed last year. In my opinion this team would have been fine with Harris and Rowand the whole year last year, the only two guys I will miss are Colon and Gordon. I think we've already replaced Gordon in Cliff Politte (think what you want of him, but I think he's a quality pitcher) So the only addition we need is a starting pitcher or two to eat up some of those innings. I'm not expecting a trade for Jarrod Washburn, but I think Kenny will find us another starter sometime before spring training. I don't care how delusional some people think I am, this team can win this division. CWSOX45

You're correct, we may not be in the top 5 in the league in defense this year. I'm was not saying that we were going to be, I was just saying that our defense is far better than some posters think it is. The only concern I have defensively is Jose Valentin. We SHOULD be alright at the other positions. CWSOX45

There is no need to call anyone out on this, just because he has different views doesn't necessarily mean he's a Cub fan. and it would be "plane" not "plain" CWSOX45
