QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Nov 19, 2008 -> 11:16 AM) You're a vegetarian? Vegan actually.

Back in my meat eating days I loved Arby's.

She must really think people are stupid.

Anyone recommend a Vaio? I'm also in the market for a new laptop.

It just sucks that I will have to wait until the weekend after Thanksgiving to watch it. Have family in town during the week and won't be able to watch it on Tuesday.

I read an interview with Shaun Ryan at the beginning of this season and he expressed how disappointed he was in the Sopranos finale. He guaranteed closure with Vic and the rest of the cast in his finale. I'm relieved to know that. As far as my guesses, I have a feeling Ronnie will be the only one that "gets away"....whatever that means. I can see Vic's immunity being taken away somehow. I wouldn't be surprised if he wound up going to prison or if he gets killed by Shane or someone else from the Farmington police force. Maybe even by Julian. I don't see Shane getting away. He'll be killed off and Mara will probably go to prison. I could see Claudette finally losing it and being forced to step down or retire. As for Acevada, I wouldn't be surprised if he wound up unphased and eventually becoming mayor.

QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Nov 18, 2008 -> 10:49 PM) Ronnie is so f*cked. Ultimately they all are. I have a feeling Vic's immunity deal gets nixed somehow.

Oh my. That Shield episode was insanely good. What a bleak ending to the series. Can't wait until next week's finale and thankfully it'll be a 90 min episode.

QUOTE (mr_genius @ Nov 18, 2008 -> 12:16 PM) i mean for f***s sake, major media outlets are selling Obama DVD's It's called capitalism. If people weren't buying it they wouldn't sell it. QUOTE (mr_genius @ Nov 18, 2008 -> 12:16 PM) , putting him on the cover of magazines like he's FDR, So Obama is the first President-elect to be put on the front of magazine covers? QUOTE (mr_genius @ Nov 18, 2008 -> 12:16 PM) calling him the greatest president of our generation and he hasn't even been sworn in. Which newspaper or magazine stated that?
-
QUOTE (Texsox @ Nov 18, 2008 -> 12:11 PM) Or Kerry had more appeal for black voters. And I have some great land to sell you in Florida.

QUOTE (mr_genius @ Nov 18, 2008 -> 12:12 PM) actually it wasn't a story until it was a proven hoax. if it was real it would have been ignored by most of the media, Drudge or not. the reason it was front page news all of a sudden was because it was a story to make the McCain campaign look bad. Oh please. Put away the tinfoil hat.

QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Nov 18, 2008 -> 11:52 AM) Thats not what he's saying. He's saying they should be reported on equally. Neither story really is that big of a deal. Every type of group has those on the fringe that are not representative of the group as a whole. I don't see how a story involving violence and one that is non-violent should be reported on equally.

QUOTE (mr_genius @ Nov 18, 2008 -> 11:45 AM) oh that evil matt drudge. i hope you guys can figure out a way to shut him down, he's just downright not pro-democrat enough. i wish the media was only pro-democrat infomercials like MSNBC, CNN, the New York Times, and Dailykos. a perfect world. So in your eyes a story that apparently involved a racial hate crime and theft was not headline worthy but a group of gays throwing pink glitter and condoms at a church should be a major breaking story?
-
And if I recall, pro-GOP Matt Drudge was the only one that made that story a top headline at first as he tried to make news that wasn't really there. It became front page news everywhere else when it turned out to be all staged.
-
QUOTE (mr_genius @ Nov 18, 2008 -> 11:38 AM) yet the 'B' lady was front page news and these protestors get no media coverage. i wonder why The pro-gay media.

Just like the girl with the scratched "B" on her cheek did not represent all republican voters, these 20 or so people do not represent the millions of gays across the country.

QUOTE (JorgeFabregas @ Nov 18, 2008 -> 11:12 AM) he was probably not as good in 2008 as he was in 2007 or 2008

Here's something cool I saw yesterday. Involves those 4 states that you mention. The final map on the page is quite telling.

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Nov 18, 2008 -> 01:27 AM) Why are tying a tie at 11 at night? He's a Tarantino hitman.

QUOTE (Shadows @ Nov 15, 2008 -> 06:10 PM) For those of you thinking about buying Fallout 3 because of what has been said about it in this thread, don't. Its garbage. If all you care about is a wasteland looking pretty, by all means spend the 60+ to get it. If you like gameplay and actual stuff like that, its a piece of s*** and your money would be better spent elsewhere (Call of Duty: WaW) I just watched the video review of it on IGN and it looks incredible. I recommend checking out the video review.

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Nov 17, 2008 -> 04:11 PM) He didn't mean, literally, closing Guantanamo Bay. He meant closing the special prison. Ah, my bad.

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Nov 17, 2008 -> 04:02 PM) Edited topic title for accuracy. Huh?
