QUOTE (3E8 @ Nov 11, 2008 -> 08:15 PM) Are you guys joking? It says developed by: those guys in a huge font for the opening credits I figured the guy who plays Dennis was the brains behind the show.

Very disappointed to hear that the new Kanye album will be heavy with auto-tune effects. When will this lame fad die?

QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Oct 31, 2008 -> 11:41 PM) Just getting in from seeing Lupe Fiasco @ the Congress. As usual, he didn't disappoint. IMO, it's crazy how much rap sounds with a live band. The show was filmed for a DVD, so I can't wait to pick that up. He also announced that his last album will be a triple-disc...insane. I didn't get to go to this show even though I live 2 blocks away from the Congress. His show at the Chicago theater with the Roots was dope.

It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia
QUOTE (RockRaines @ Nov 11, 2008 -> 03:27 PM) I find it ridiculous that Mac (for the most part) was the brains behind the show. Also that he is married to Sweet Dee. Also that Charlie is married to the Waitress. I shouldnt have research their actual personal lives. Interesting. I would never have guessed. And I love it that she is merely referred to as "the waitress".

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Nov 11, 2008 -> 12:50 PM) Some of us voted for Bush in 2000 and gave him every chance to succeed, before becoming cynical about him. *raises hand*- Congressional Elections Results Thread
QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Nov 11, 2008 -> 10:49 AM) We'll know tomorrow: My concern is that the turnout seems a bit fishy. The trend everywhere else was that turnout was a record high.- Congressional Elections Results Thread
Anyone else find it odd that the turnout in Alaska was lower than in 2004? Seeing that this was a historic election and their governor was on one of the tickets I must admit I'm a little concerned. That and the fact the Stevens was down 22 points in some polls beforehand and it looks like he will now win.- Proposition 8 in California

QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Nov 11, 2008 -> 10:00 AM) Obama railed against lobbyists, and thier influence in campaigns. Iguess you can sleectivly not remember that, but every time it came up that someone doing anything for McCain was or is a lobbyist, that's all we heard about is how they will have no voice in shaping his administration. So how is picking this guy, who was a lobbyist and who's firm are huge lobbyists, to pick your FCC head somehow magically 'different'? Ok, he is ot a lobbyist 'now'. but he was, and his firm is. And he is nothign BUT a Washington insider, so again, how is that 'change'? McCain had advisers who were still lobbying while working on his campaign. Big difference.- Proposition 8 in California

QUOTE (lostfan @ Nov 9, 2008 -> 03:11 PM) ??? North Korea is communist/authoritarian, that's something altogether different actually. Socialist countries are like Germany and France. My point is that you keep qualifying that we are center-right by comparing us to European countries. That just seems arbitrary to me in this discussion.- The Democrat Thread
QUOTE (lostfan @ Nov 9, 2008 -> 03:11 PM) Yeah, that's a fallacy. This IS a center-right country, but it doesn't mean we are somehow predisposed to being Republican. You continue to state that we are center-right. What are you basing that on exactly? Is it just your opinion? - Obama's Cabinet and Staff
