Sox all-stars
QUOTE (YASNY @ Jul 2, 2008 -> 04:05 PM) I've always been a big fan of Joe Crede. However, I don't think he'll make the All Star team and I really don't think he should this year. I feel the same way.

QUOTE (feistyboy @ Jul 2, 2008 -> 02:49 PM) Crede and Danks both totally deserve it. If either miss it I will be very upset. Do you watch any other teams play?

Hoping for a rainout tonight...
QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Jul 2, 2008 -> 11:51 AM) I am really hoping for a rainout tonight, which is probably the first time I have ever wished for one. Why? C.C. Sabathia against Jose Contreras is not a good matchup for us and even though we have the six game winstreak, I would rather make this game up with the Indians when they either don't have Sabathia or we probably don't have to face him in the makeup game. Am I wrong to think this? Is anyone else hoping for the rainout? I sure hope the team doesn't feel the same way. I can't imagine us winning it all with guys wanting to avoid the best players of the opposing team. If we're for real we shouldn't be afraid of anyone.

Limbaugh to sign $400,000,000 deal
QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Jul 2, 2008 -> 09:12 AM) Then why is Air America on its death bed? They're not very good at hating.

QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Jul 2, 2008 -> 09:13 AM) D'OH!!! This from this morning... Q: You have admitted that you’re not exactly an expert when it comes to the economy and many have said – McCAIN: I have not. I have not. Actually, I have not. I said that I am stronger on national security issues because of all the time I spent in the military. I’m very strong on the economy. I understand it. I have a lot more experience than my opponent. This from last December- "The issue of economics is not something I’ve understood as well as I should. I’ve got Greenspan’s book." This from January 2000- Seeking to explain his shift on economic issues, McCain claimed: “I didn’t pay nearly the attention to those issues in the past. I was probably a ’supply-sider’ based on the fact that I really didn’t jump into the issue.” If only he understood what the Internet is and that people can pull up video of him contradicting himself.

TOP 40 FAVORITE TV COMEDIES
QUOTE (knightni @ Jun 30, 2008 -> 02:28 PM) The mystery person who left it off was... me. Never have been a fan. I don't like a lot of shows that other people do. Friends, Cheers, Raymond, Arrested Dev, Entourage, Curb Your Enth... I haven't even watched the Simpsons for at least 10 years. I had shows on my list that hardly anyone mentioned. In Living Color Futurama NewsRadio Just Shoot Me WKRP Big fan of Newsradio and In Living Color.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Jun 30, 2008 -> 12:00 PM) I watched Mystery Science Theater 3000's "Wild Wild World of Batwoman" (the actual movie's plot makes ZERO sense) over the weekend. My girlfriend and I had put it on our Netflix que, but we were worried that maybe that show wasn't as funny as we thought it was 10 years ago. I'm happy to say that the very first line had us both laughing out loud, and there were many more quality moments throughout the movie. Cool. I'll have to check it out.

TOP 40 FAVORITE TV COMEDIES
QUOTE (Soxy @ Jun 30, 2008 -> 10:11 AM) Did anyone have both versions of the office on their list? Just the British for me. I feel that the US version is way over the top and becoming more so as the show progresses. I loved the more subtle British version.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 30, 2008 -> 07:54 AM) Nice work Jeremy. Nice to see Arrested Development, unfortunately all to late, is finally recognized. It's my #1 and always will be... Mine too. It's probably the only show on the list that never jumped the shark. Oh and the British Office.

If we somehow make the playoffs please tell me Jose will be a long reliever and not start a game.
