I only brought that stuff up because Steve said it was the best movie ever and gave it an A+.
God damn right.

Cities do change, but I cant name 1 city that completely lost its elevated track system or had an island disappear within 8 years.
Arkham was in the Narrows, its a pretty important thing to just completely forget about.
Did you see BB? Did you see how they stopped the water from being dispersed? It kinda sorta maybe involved THE ELEVATED TRAIN BEING DESTROYED.

There really wasnt too much CGI in the first, really. Basically seeing through the eyes of the people who were on gas, and when the gas was released into the city. I love that Nolan stays away from CGI as much as he can
All of Gotham was pretty much CGI. The train going through the city looks especially bad these days.

I think I am still the only one that thinks the NCAA's nose didn't belong here in the first place.
Whhhaaaaaaat??

Rumor has it that Randall Delgado is included in the deal. If so, big win for the Cubs. Dempster isn't a part of your future anyway.
WOW
Breaking Bad was, of course, exceptional last night. I don't really see how Mike being involved with Walt and Jessie can be a good thing since he has the DEA breathing down his neck - which can only lead to entertainment.
QUOTE (Carter224 @ Jul 22, 2012 -> 12:39 AM)
It was weak Steve, and I think deep down you know it was kinda weak too but your love for Batman wont allow you to admit it. At the very least you can agree that
really had no place in this movie.
I guess I had higher expectations for this movie than you did.
Like I said, it wasn't a bad movie.
I had very high expectations, and they were exceeded. One could say Catwoman could have been left out entirely, though.
QUOTE (Carter224 @ Jul 21, 2012 -> 04:55 PM)
I don't understand how anyone found this ending a fitting conclusion to the trilogy.
Ever read a comic book? Jeez. Watch something else, because your ending pisses in the face of everything Batman.

It's not even in the Top 5 of Nolan's career.
1. Batman: The Dark Knight
2. Inception
3. Memento
4. Batman Returns
5. The Prestige
Batman Returns?
QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Jul 20, 2012 -> 11:59 PM)
Ok, wasn't sure.... but in that case I disagree 100% and I think this was the worst movie in the series (still a good movie) and nothing about it deserves any Oscar nominations whatsoever.
To each his own.
QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Jul 20, 2012 -> 11:28 PM)
Are you being sarcastic with your posts I can't tell. Especially this one those statements don't really belong together.
My point was that I normally don't hop in a thread and declare BEST MOVIE EVER.
I am declaring best movie ever.
QUOTE (SleepyWhiteSox @ Jul 20, 2012 -> 09:34 PM)
TDK was MUCH better, IMHO. Although Joker obviously wasn't gonna be topped, I liked Bane. TDKR feels a bit too forced a lot of times, though.
I disagree. The Dark Knight was a Joker movie. The Dark Knight Rises was all about the persistence and dedication of Batman. Bane made the Joker look like a p****.
QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jul 20, 2012 -> 09:09 PM)
I loved the movie, and I'll be seeing it again soon in the next couple of days.
I was really surprised with how emotionally attached I was to the film.
