  1. I am getting sick of this bean Konerko Bulls***.
  2. Dayan Viciedo with the incredible speed.
  3. QUOTE (RZZZA @ Jul 14, 2012 -> 11:28 AM) I really don't think Asiks contract is going to prevent us from getting Kevin Love. People are probably overestimating the immovability of that contract. $15 million in year 3? That's a million bucks for every minute he plays per game.
  4. Reed has been fine.

QUOTE (JPN366 @ Jul 13, 2012 -> 09:58 PM) That would make such an awesome faux article - a completely ridiculous BBS5 Preview.
  6. Elton Brand claimed by Mavs. Great fit.
  7. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jul 13, 2012 -> 06:26 PM) Oh yes. Chaos and I'm not involved. This for me, too.
  8. If anyone's worth it, Drew Brees is worth it.

QUOTE (Brian @ Jul 13, 2012 -> 07:09 AM) Boogie looks old. Saw about an hour of After Dark and he is already working his magic. Lots of eye candy this season. Yeah, just tons of sluts.
  10. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jul 13, 2012 -> 08:01 AM) you have a lot of stealing to do to catch up to SS2K5. You should change to a line by line seperate post reply format as well He just needs to post every single tweet he sees to even hold pace.

Big Brother 14 "Coaches" idea is brilliant.
  12. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 12, 2012 -> 12:55 PM) Ugh. Of course, because it is the year after he signed a five year deal and we are in a pennant race. Exactly.
  13. Blake Griffin hurt his knee in practice today, and went directly to a specialist. Anthony Davis was immediately summoned. That could be a problem.
  14. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 11, 2012 -> 07:39 PM) Hey guysssssssss I launched a website along with Badger and Zoom. Consider it a Grantland ripoff but more sophomoric. Flapship If you'd like to check it out and perhaps follow us on Twitter, that'd be swell. Ifyou want to write for the page which I can promise will get popular, either PM me or fill out the form on the Contact Us page. Thanks! Thanks for the feedback to those who PM'd. 15. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jul 11, 2012 -> 10:50 PM) According to KC Johnson the bulls have still not received the offer sheet from the Rockets for Asik. I wonder if Houston is making a play for Howard now They'd get blackballed if the pulled that bad boy back.

  18. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jul 11, 2012 -> 04:49 PM) When did the Heat sign Rashard Lewis? Jesus. I know he was hurt last year. But the man can shoot. Eh, he sucks.
  19. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Jul 10, 2012 -> 11:55 PM) Go away. http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/...-jerry-sandusky It's pathetic that they are scraping and clawing trying to save JoePa's reputation. There's factual evidence that proves that JoePa had all the power and was a main cog in sweeping this entire scandal under the rug.
  20. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Jul 11, 2012 -> 08:40 AM) A lot of that average starting field position came when kickoffs were on the 30, meaning that Hester either got the ball and got a good return, or they squib kicked it and got good field position anyway. Since last year, pretty much all drives after kickoffs start on the 20 for all teams. Yes, Hester is more likely to return a punt than a kickoff for a TD, but his overall impact on field position was greater on kickoffs. Also, some teams are getting better at directional punting. Devin Hester had three returns for touchdown last year alone. His value hasn't been stunted much, if at all. Also, I like how you throw out "some teams are getting better at directional punting". Right. Great stat.
  21. QUOTE (WilliamTell @ Jul 8, 2012 -> 11:27 PM) More normal than Rafael Belliard hitting a homer I suppose. Digging in the stats vault! Or you are old as f***.
  22. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Jul 11, 2012 -> 07:00 AM) The rules that moved the kickoffs up to the 35 pretty much destroyed Hester's value. Apparently punt returns no longer exist. He returned 3 kicks for touchdowns last year, 2 on punts, 1 on the kickoff. For the last five years, the Bears have ranked among the top three teams in average starting field position, averaging better than the 33. Hester has returned 333 kicks and scored 17 touchdowns (12 on punts, 5 on returns). So, based on a nine-year sample, there is better than a 1-in-20 chance Hester will take a kick to the house. Yup, no value.
