QUOTE (Stan Bahnsen @ Jul 17, 2012 -> 02:07 PM) Thanks, I remember that one now. Great scenes with George. He was also "Carl" in Billy Madison.
  2. It's pretty hard to believe that Alexei Ramirez has knocked in more runs than Paulie.
  3. QUOTE (RZZZA @ Jul 17, 2012 -> 10:20 AM) Bleh. I'm less interested in how good the Mavs look and more interested in how bad WE look. The inability to even have a meeting with Mayo is a huge black stain on this FO. If details come out of this signing and it turns out they gave him equal amount of money we would have been able to give him, there's no excuse for this failure How the f*** are the Bulls going to sign OJ Mayo? You don't live in reality, dude.
  4. QUOTE (Melissa1334 @ Jul 17, 2012 -> 07:31 AM) so o.j. mayo to the mavs The Mavs have made some truly intriguing moves. Darren Collison has shown flashes of brilliance (mostly the year he super-subbed for CP3), and OJ Mayo could flourish with other talent on the roster. They also claimed Elton Brand off amnesty waivers and will only be hit with a $2.1 million cap for his services. He immediately goes from overpaid to a bargain. Then they add Chris Kaman? I think the Mavericks are going to be a legitimate contender next year with the moves they've made.
  5. Say what you will, but listening to Ozzie rip on Wrigley again is still enjoyable. He more than wore out his welcome, and he bent White Sox fans over and f***ed them in the ass by betraying them, but that s*** is still funny.
  6. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Jul 16, 2012 -> 11:36 PM) At least JoePa's dead. We have to sit here and listen to Jay Paterno be annoying, ignorant and ridiculous every day. They can all go to hell. You should have just laid low and let his death get your family off the hook. Welcome back to the line of fire, I hope you get absolutely crucified the rest of your lives. And they should take down the statue immediately and toss it through your front window. I heart this post. It's crazy how quickly things change. Just a year ago, Joe Paterno was a historic football coach, and the old man everyone outside of PSU thought of having overstayed his welcome - and he was the guy who ran off the field while crapping his old pants. Now, his reputation is rightly ruined (again, to anyone outside of Pennsylvania). F*ck Paterno and his idiot family. Jay should be apologizing to all the victims and separating himself from his father, but he's doing the opposite.
  7. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jul 17, 2012 -> 07:53 AM) WTF is going on? Dez Bryant domestic abuse, Elvis Dumervil flashing a gun in a road rage incident, Marshawn Lynch DUI all in like 24 hours Thank you, sir, for inspiring a flapship tweet.
  8. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jul 17, 2012 -> 07:32 AM) Marshawn Lynch, who recently signed a deal similar to Forte's, is the latest passenger on the DUI train. He has a previous history of run-ins, so he may be facing suspension. Truly amazing that $17 million guaranteed is not enough money to pay for a taxi/limo after a few drinks. Add to that the NFL provides a service for free...
  9. Shouldn't this be in Diamond Club? Lillubridge is f***ing awful; why would anyone want to waste a roster spot on him?
  10. QUOTE (Brian @ Jul 16, 2012 -> 04:56 PM) I f'n love going to Wed matinees alone. Not crowded, nobody to bother me. It's great. I hate seeing movies with big cowds. I love the big crowds for an epic movie like TDKR.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jul 16, 2012 -> 04:52 PM) They had to ask a few and nobody said yes. You could bring Rachel back but shes already played twice. Off the top off my head: Dani Allison Jun Danielle Maybe Jordan Porsche Maggie Alison Are all better female choices Dani already played twice, too... as did Jordan.
  12. QUOTE (SnB @ Jul 16, 2012 -> 03:59 PM) So I have to start doing phone call audits at work where I call one of our branches and pretend to be a customer. My fake names are always going to be obscure white sox players. Today I used Danny Richar. I hated how obsessed the collective was Danny Richar. I saw one at-bat and knew he was garbage. That is hilarious, by the way.

QUOTE (Brian @ Jul 16, 2012 -> 03:58 PM) She definitely looks saggier this year. Janelle looks like she had another bob job. Agreed on Britney. Never much of a game player. Wonder if they just wanted someone more recent or a bunch of girls declined. Bob jobs are the worst.
  14. QUOTE (Brian @ Jul 16, 2012 -> 04:00 PM) This. Gonna be hard cuz I'm waiting a couple of weeks to see it. I will do my best to spoil the s*** out of it for you.

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Jul 16, 2012 -> 12:28 PM) The entire show is about his conversion. You're never satisfied. OHHHHhhhhhhhhh. BREAKING BAD. WHOAAAAAA.
  16. QUOTE (flippedoutpunk @ Jul 16, 2012 -> 01:07 PM) There are some spoilerriffic reviews out on the interwebs. Im the kind of b**** that just HAS to read spoilers and needless to say, i can't wait to see it happen on IMAX this weekend. I've avoided everything. I have an idea having read Batman my whole life, but I'm excited to see what Nolan does with it.
  17. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jul 16, 2012 -> 01:53 PM) Dont fool yourself, the Youk talk is ALL Boston This.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jul 16, 2012 -> 12:00 PM) Yeah I wasn't sure. I noticed some people in here were only up to season 2/3 so I didn't to ruin anything. f*** em
  19. QUOTE (JPN366 @ Jul 14, 2012 -> 11:13 PM) Got a good deal on a Samsung Blu Ray player at Best Buy. $69.99 brand new, the deal was on the website and they have to honor it at the store. That is quite the deal.
  20. I'd say my boner is at about 80% erect. I cannot wait for this Friday.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jul 16, 2012 -> 10:04 AM) He's not, but he's always been a nervous wreck about things and never seemed comfortable having to perform X job to get him out of trouble. That was the case even last year in the finale The sudden flip seems just that - sudden. LOL, I think you can stop worrying about spoilers for episodes that happened in past seasons.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jul 16, 2012 -> 11:52 AM) WHy do they keep calling Britney one of the best Big Brother players of all time? She wont no comps, she was played from day 1 by her biggest ally, and was pretty much just a pretty face. Thats one of the WORST players ever. Epic tits.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jul 16, 2012 -> 11:39 AM) I watched the finale from last season before the premiere. Walt is frazzled, nervous, unsure, etc. etc. when he's trying to rig that bomb on Gus' car. He's not this stone-faced "don't question me" character. Yes, there's a progression from season 1 and he just took down his biggest nemesis so he's very confident. But he's never been so in-your-face about it before. Sorry, but that scene with Saul where it's a close-up and he's breathing like Christan Bale as Batman was a bit much. Clearly this is a new Walt, look at Jessie's reaction when he says "because I said so" or whatever in the back of the car. He turns around like "what the f***? Who are you?" He's gaining confidence and digging himself deeper. It seems perfectly reasonable.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jul 16, 2012 -> 09:14 AM) I enjoyed the episode a lot, but couldn't help but think a few times "wow, this is really over the top." Whereas the "I forgive you line" worked, the "it's not over until I say it's over" in Saul's office and the "because I said so" in the back of the car with Mike and Jessie felt forced and out of character. Are you watching the same show everyone else is? Just curious. "I'm not IN danger. I AM THE DANGER."
