  1. Bell blows another save, Ozzie continues to win Manager of the Year.
  2. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jul 8, 2012 -> 12:00 PM) Without Rose Bulls are in trouble regardless. No way!
  3. QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Jul 8, 2012 -> 01:04 AM) LOL. They called Brent and Zach two stiffs. Spoiler Alert: "They" is me.
  4. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jul 8, 2012 -> 12:49 AM) I want Mark back. Pointless post. We just need Danks back. Mark took his big money and can do his thang in South Beach.
  5. Red Sox Hero Finds Swagger on Chicago's South Side.
  6. QUOTE (SOXOBAMA @ Jul 7, 2012 -> 06:28 PM) I'm a huge fan of Viciedo but I think the Sox should trade him to AZ for Justin Upton. AZ is willing to trade Upton and would be great to see the Sox get him. I swear to you I almost made this exact post yesterday the moment I saw the rumor that Justin Upton was "available for trade". Great post.
  7. Ray Allen to the Heat at the price makes the NBA kinda laughable. If this is the way of the NBA the next many seasons, count me out. Why not just have every good player go to Miami and play for the league minimum? Pat Riley and his beaches are making a mockery of the sport I love. Thank God for the White Sox and the Bears and the Blackhawks.
  8. F*ck reading that fake tweet line.
  9. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jul 6, 2012 -> 06:39 PM) Joey Bats is fun to watch hit. So's Lawrie and Rasmus has been on fiyah.
  10. QUOTE (Reddy @ Jul 6, 2012 -> 04:42 PM) the WHIP is atrocious. Zach Stewart territory.
  11. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 6, 2012 -> 02:22 PM) Ozzie's silence was golden. The VETERAN closer was spouting bulls*** and Ozzie let him spout. It was fascinating IMO. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 6, 2012 -> 04:24 PM) He was not silent.
  12. QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Jul 6, 2012 -> 04:22 PM) I wasn't calling you out, I more meant from a front office perspective. I didn't think you were, I just wanted to preface my response with my feelings on Luongo.
  13. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 6, 2012 -> 03:17 PM) Did you mean deify him? I'm not as dumb as you may think I am. Quin just got handled by greg. That is awesome.
  14. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 6, 2012 -> 02:30 PM) You guys don't even have an open mind on the matter. You tell me Ozzie didn't handle that situation PERFECTLY? I will lose respect for you if you actually say Ozzie handled that poorly. Huh? He didn't do anything. He handled nothing. He was silent.
  15. QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Jul 6, 2012 -> 03:53 PM) Do you think Luongo can get this team back to the promise land, and win the Stanley Cup. As you mentioned, he is already 33. If you don't think he can, then there isn't any point in even thinking about the possibility. I haven't once advocated the addition of Luongo, and I don't think it'd be smart, but to directly answer your very good question... Yes, I think Luongo could be a difference-maker that wins us a Cup. I also think the Hawks could, if they ever decide to focus on the position, find a solution in the net and improve the line enough to win a Cup in the same short-term, and not be f***ed long-term.
  16. QUOTE (onedude @ Jul 6, 2012 -> 03:13 PM) I heard it starts off months after the second, then jumps ahead 8 years. Batman/Bruce is supposed to be 39/40 years old for the last film. You can kind of make out grey hair on Bruce in some shots in the trailers. And Bale is clearly in lesser shape (on purpose).
  17. There's some grumblings that the Bulls might match the Asik offer. Shoot me in the f***ing eyeball if that happens.
  18. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 6, 2012 -> 02:57 PM) Yeah, like I said earlier, Luongo wouldn't be ideal, but he is way f***ing better than what we have, chokes and all. He is, but that contract, my God that contract. Luongo is 33 right now, and has a $5.33 million annual salary cap hit until he is 43. Sure, it looks ok for maybe 3 more years, but what about the remaining SEVEN? I just think there has to be a better way to get a goaltender than one with that God-awful piece of paper.
  19. QUOTE (RZZZA @ Jul 6, 2012 -> 02:59 PM) Really? If we get rid of CJ, Brewer and Korver we have a good chunk of money to throw at someone who could be a starter for us I believe your statement to be incorrect and it's probably already been proven by Zoom or Balta directly to you multiple times.
  20. K.C Johnson ‏@KCJHoop Add two names to Bulls' free-agent possibles: Michael Redd and Jerryd Bayless, who just became a UFA after Toronto pulled qualifying offer. Yikes, Jerryd Bayless. He no shoot too well.
  21. QUOTE (RZZZA @ Jul 6, 2012 -> 02:56 PM) I was hoping for some GM magic wizard trick, a S & T, something... As usual the impediment seems to be that nobody wants to come here That's not the case at all. The Bulls can't afford anyone.
  22. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 6, 2012 -> 02:54 PM) David Kaplan Wow, Roberto Luongo lists the Blackhawks and the Panthers as his preferred destinations. Says it is time to move on from Vancouver. Now that's interesting. He no trade listed the Hawks like a week ago. Kaplan's likely full of s*** and tweeting from the tanning bed. edit: slav, it was a joke, you don't need to fly to the honor of your boy Kaplan.
