QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 26, 2012 -> 11:37 AM) you know, if my Aunt had balls she would be my Uncle. It landed fair. Your Aunt does have balls.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 26, 2012 -> 08:52 AM) A 2nd or a 3rd? Gimme both, or at least a 2nd & a 4th at the least. Anything less, no thanks. He's not gonna sit out the season. The Bears have zero leverage in a trade negotiation.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 07:43 PM) I think I'd go with Thornton, followed by Crain. These newcomers can't close. They are going to blow WAY too many. Let the veterans do it until they prove they also can't. When you are a .500ish type team, you can't have these closing problems. Just can't. It's hard enough to get in position to win games. Poor Robin. The unreliable bullpen continues. But in answer to your question. I'd go thornton, then crain after Thornton proves he can't. I wouldn't be upset if it were Crain, then Thornton though. GIVE IT TO A VETERAN! Genius. The same veteran you laud in Thornton shat his pants when given the opportunity last year.

Thornton has had his chance in the past and failed. Reed is the future, and has a beastly k/bb and has yet to allow a run. It's a no-brainer.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Apr 26, 2012 -> 06:55 AM) The climate change line was probably the best of the bunch. That whole thing is better without the gay joke.

My radio doesn't even dial to 87.7, 87.9 is the lowest it goes, and that's some Spanish station.

Coby Fleener out of Joliet Catholic, though not a priority need, is going to be a beast Tight End, so if the Bears took him I would not complain. Added benefit of co-worker being best buds with him which would mean tickets! It'd also be neat to see Fleener land in Indy with his QB Luck at the top of the 2nd round, but I'd be surprised to see him past the 1st round.

All these idiots must not realize that half the Bulls roster still cleaned up with the NBA's best record. Also, when the f*** do we find out game 1 tip off!!

QUOTE (lostfan @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 09:18 PM) If Emery can pull off something the following dream scenario: -Trade Matt Forte for a 1st -In the 1st, draft a DE and WR or OT -In the 2nd, draft a RB I might consider changing my sexual orientation. He won't get a 1st for Forte, but a 2nd or 3rd would be ok by me.

QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 04:50 PM) One thing to add is I was thrilled to see that Rios didn't complain about Ventura's choice to let Dunn hit for him last night. Who knows what the reaction to such a move would have been last year, but it's great to see things seem to be good in the clubhouse. The biggest issue with Rios has been that he's passive and doesn't care, so I don't see why you'd be thrilled that he didn't care he was pulled. -

Sox are scoring tons of runs lately. -
QUOTE (RockRaines @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 02:31 PM) What does that have to do with what I said? Last year their REGULAR season was called a fluke. They then went out and did it again. No one called the regular season a fluke last year. The Bulls are a deep, powerhouse regular season team.

This is a f***ing game, and every time Artest is on the court, it's more a war where he can blow up and hurt anyone in the arena. Artest is a violent player who only cares about himself. I am very disappointed that he will play again in the NBA, and so soon.
-
QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 10:14 AM) I can't believe Artest only got 7 games. That's the 1st round. What a joke of a league. Way to send a message to a repeat offender Stern. The minimum should have been 10-14. The appropriate suspension would have been the remainder of the season. Honestly, given his history of making a complete mockery of the NBA, this should have been the last straw. He really should never have been allowed back in the league after going into the stands after fans. Ron Artest, aka Metta World A$$hole, should never play in the NBA again.

Ventura insinuated that Dunn represented the Sox's best chance to tie the game at that time. “You’re looking to tie it up," said Ventura, who also had A.J. Pierzynski on the bench. "That was probably our best shot at tying it up, and that was the only reason for that.” I can't argue with that at all... Dunn gave the team the best chance for an instant tie ball game.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 09:17 AM) After watching them against Dallas, I really disagree. There was absolutely no chemistry between the 2 when they were on the court together. You could easily convince yourself that Rip was better with Rose off the court because the offense ran through Rip. That had everything to do with Rose finding his game and nothing to do with his ability or inability to play with Rip Hamilton. Hamilton's offensive game doesn't vary much from Korver's in all honesty. Run around, get open, shoot. The only difference is Rip will take it to the hole every now and again.

Oh my God, I LOL'd at VEEP multiple times. That show is hilariously not-PC.
-
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 08:23 AM) I know the sentiment, but especially Derrick and Rip desperately need time on the floor together. Rose and Rip have been running NBA plays for a long time, and can run these plays in their sleep. They need to rest and can "figure it out" against a s*** Knicks or Bucks squad this weekend.

Don Cooper is getting really, really fat. It's like he's injecting steaks and cheese into his veins.
