  1. QUOTE (JPN366 @ Feb 21, 2012 -> 10:43 PM) I wonder how it will look on my 60 inch LCD? Like s***.
  2. QUOTE (ptatc @ Feb 21, 2012 -> 02:58 PM) This is one of the reasons Ozzie didn't like him. He didn't take anything seriously especially his preparation (too much nightlife) for game days. Yeah, and we all know Ozzie takes EVERYTHING seriously. Do as I say, not as I do, I guess.
  3. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 21, 2012 -> 02:20 PM) Scott Miller @ScottMCBS Wedge makes it official: Ichiro will hit third. Figgins will be given first chance this spring to lead off. Figgins hit .188 last year. Wedge = Ozzie.
  4. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Feb 21, 2012 -> 02:26 PM) The Decision forever changed this My posts were greatness. His decision was horses***!
  5. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Feb 21, 2012 -> 02:10 PM) Calm down now, its just a article in chicagonow. You should be able to relate to posting bulls*** in the Nba thread. No. I post nothing but greatness.

Re-heat that s*** in the oven and it's as good as the first time around...
  7. Who the f*** is gwill and why am I supposed to care?
  8. According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the Steelers are willing to let restricted free agent Mike Wallace test the open market. The Steelers will reportedly place a first-round restricted tender on Wallace and "see what develops." If he "signs a contract and they deem it too high," they will apparently take the first-round compensation instead of matching. Once unthinkable, it's now very possible the Steelers will let their 25-year-old No. 1 receiver walk instead of digging themselves into an even deeper salary-cap hole. Holy crap, Wallace would be the best possible player to add to Cutler's cannon.
  9. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 21, 2012 -> 09:32 AM) Greg Oden is having microfracture surgery and is done for the year... again. He's still easily better than MJ.
  10. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Feb 21, 2012 -> 09:14 AM) I wanted to watch that game last night, i was pissed NBAtv wasnt carrying it. I just dont know how Melo is going to fit in an offense designed to run run run and shoot shoot shoot. Everything in Melos game is deliberate, isolation. He ran ran ran and shot shot shot in Denver. That's what they do. Give it time, dude was out two weeks. You can't expect him to hit the ground running.
  11. QUOTE (Felix @ Feb 20, 2012 -> 08:34 PM) Probably the most impressive part of that is that he's only made one two pointer so far, but is 8/13 from three. schweet jayzuz
  12. D-Rose plays today... in 30 minutes. Go Bulls!
  13. QUOTE (Felix @ Feb 19, 2012 -> 06:46 PM) I wouldn't say Marc Gasol is "nothing," but I appreciate what you were going for. Is Pekovic capable of keeping, up this recent torrid pace?

"In Time" was f***ing terrible. We shut that trash off.
  15. MLB Whispers: White Sox could outbid Cubs for Soler The Chicago Tribune speculates that the White Sox could overspend to ''make a deal happen'' with Cuban outfielder Jorge Soler. Have a good evening, fellas. I'm going out to get s***faced with the family. This should get you all going.

QUOTE (G&T @ Feb 18, 2012 -> 03:18 PM) So we have a dog with very serious possession issues with bones. When he is tired and has a bone he will guard it like a hawk. He will growl and bite if he feels threatened. He won't go out of his way to hurt anyone. My real fear is that some kid is going to get near him at the wrong time and he will bite. We don't have kids so we just ignore him but I'm kinda sick of this. Anyone deal with this? No bones with kids in the house.
  17. QUOTE (daa84 @ Feb 18, 2012 -> 04:55 PM) what has happened to ronnie brewers offensive game? He's never really had much of one. He actually has a birth defect (his arms are actually quite a bit different in length). He can't shoot, he never really has been able to... that 5 game run to start the season was the outlier, not what you are seeing now.
  18. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 18, 2012 -> 08:03 AM) No one said the 90s were the only period of NBA basketball. You are ridiculous.
  19. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Feb 17, 2012 -> 07:45 PM) I think it would be funny as hell if the Knicks lose tonight on Melo's first game back. The only problem with this statement is the fact that Melo isn't playing tonight.

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Feb 17, 2012 -> 04:36 PM) He wouldn't be directing, so I'm fine with it. Saw The Phantom Menace in 3D. I liked it more than I remembered. Man, I'm telling people, it's a good movie and I don't really understand the hate. Everything save Jar-Jar is awesome.
  21. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Feb 17, 2012 -> 04:35 PM) Also keep in mind that there was no 3-second rule in Jordan's day. Bigs could just camp out in the paint all game (especially against teams without a good scoring center) and go for blocks. I don't have my head so far up Jordan's ass that I think he'd average 50 PPG or something. Only thing I see suffering a little is his overall shooting percentage. Besides that? Please. He'd score 40 ppg, I do truly believe that. He'd probably average 20 free throws. Those would be some long games.
  22. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Feb 17, 2012 -> 04:22 PM) Living in Michigan for 5 years and having to deal with all these Red Wings fans really sucks. http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/p...310974659_n.jpg This was posted on my wall this morning by a Wings fan and it boggled my mind. He's a 19 yr old on the hockey team and he did it to kinda rub it in my face as a Hawks fan. The first thing I thought was "They've won 4 Cups in 15 years and have been pretty damn good." Then I said, thats f***ing Hank Zetterberg. Dude has as many Cups as Toews and Kane do, WTF. Then I thought about it some more and realized Wings fans are just a bunch of f***ing idiots. For 15 years, they've been perennial contenders. They've had one hell of a run, but this Hockeytown BULLs*** really upsets me. They "sell out" every game but the Joe is 3/4 full at best most nights. They trail the Canadiens in Cups by 13 and are 2 behind TOR too. In my lifetime (22), they've won 4 Cups. However, people my age have probably only really gotten to enjoy TWO as really true, engaged fans. 02 and 08. That'd make them 12/13 and 17/18. They've been good for as long as they've been alive though, which obviously makes them think that the Red Wings are god's gift to hockey. Every time I get into an argument with one of these people I get "We won 11 Cups, Hawks have won 4. LOL you suck. Yzerman!!!!!!!" and it infuriates me. You need to learn to not listen to idiots.
  23. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Feb 17, 2012 -> 04:31 PM) WRONG MJ would take a s*** on Wade. Shaq>>>>>>Howard MJ would mindfvck the mentally weak LBJ Shaq was definitely more talented than Dwight Howard. It's too bad he didn't keep himself in shape to be the best.
