  1. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 18, 2011 -> 11:34 AM) But gay/lesbian people are some of the coolest folks I've ever met. People are people. There's cool straight folks, there's cool gay folks. There's cool white folks, there's cool black folks. We can go on and on, but I think y'all get the picture. The sooner everyone realizes this, the better.
  2. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Jun 18, 2011 -> 12:09 PM) Even Cubs fans and Sox fans that don't pay much attention are now asking why Viciedo isn't in the majors yet. I had a few of them ask me why last night. Even Andy Behrens of Yahoo finds it comical. It's nothing we don't know, but just further cements the baffling stance of running Pierre out there every f***ing day.
  3. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Jun 18, 2011 -> 12:37 AM) Lillibridge will get his once a week start because a lefty is pitching tomorrow. Then it will be Pierre getting outs in bunches on Sunday. This is where greg775 will ridicule you for picking on Pierre and having no problem with Alex Rios and Adam Dunn. Fair warning.
  4. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Jun 18, 2011 -> 12:12 AM) The longer he stays in AAA, the more he looks like a trade chit when Kenny goes all in. Logic would have him up by now. The only reason to keep him down pounding the crap out of the ball is to max his value without risking damaging it by bringing him up. If Kenny trades Viciedo, I will institute a White Sox boycott.
  5. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Jun 16, 2011 -> 09:59 PM) BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
  6. QUOTE (T R U @ Jun 16, 2011 -> 09:44 PM) their names sound like they are hott, but you never know That's what I was thinking.
  7. QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Jun 17, 2011 -> 03:55 PM) Saying november is a few months away makes me sad. Ugh.
  8. QUOTE (knightni @ Jun 18, 2011 -> 03:58 AM) WTF. What kind of horses*** is this thread? Take your hate and post on ESPN where no one cares about posting quality. That's not really a comment becoming of a mod, J. J4L has been against this trade forever, it's looking worse and worse by the day, and last night was teh very definition of why this trade was bad.
  9. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 18, 2011 -> 12:24 AM) I hate to say it. But if we were going to lose, this is what I would've preferred. A 10-8 slugfest wouldn't have sufficed. This was sweet poetic justice and caps what was an embarrassingly, short-sighted, joke of a trade. Edwin was alright. He was pretty much routine: start slow, look good for a few innings, then ultimately have to leave the game because his command is always horses***. 112 pitches in 6 1/3 IP. That's too much. It's like when Iverson would need 30 shots to get 30 points. How often does Edwin get up on a guy 0-2 then ultimately have to throw 4-6 more pitches just to finish him off? He's so maddening. As for the offense, other than PK, wow. July is right around the corner and we have SIX, yes, SIX blackholes in the everyday lineup. Teams like Boston and Tampa started out really slow, especially offensively. You see how they've recovered. This is just a really bad organization right now. And the future looks as bleak as it has, for me at least, since 1995. I finally will just f***ing say it. You were right.
  10. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jun 17, 2011 -> 09:42 AM) Yea, say what you will about the sox farm (and it is well deserved of it) but that guy is legit. If only we had room for him on our roster, but with Juan Pierre raking, I just don't see it happening.
  11. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 17, 2011 -> 09:24 AM) $130 million better win you a bad division. No s***. The organization itself said they were "all-in", anything short of the division should equal some fired bodies.
  12. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jun 16, 2011 -> 03:58 PM) Mannypalooza!!!!! Wooooooooooo!
  13. QUOTE (bighurt4life @ Jun 16, 2011 -> 06:36 PM) Here's why we don't want him http://www.sportscasualties.com/2010/08/24...-sucks-but-why/ Um, did no one catch this? According to the report which came from “two sources close to the Rays,” Kazmir was removed from the team because of the bad influence that he was on a number of its younger players. Most importantly, David Price. Kazmir’s primary smoking buddy had allegedly been Edwin Jackson who was traded at the end of 2008 for outfielder Matt Joyce. According to our sources, it was accepted among those close to the Rays that prior to the 2009 season, Kazmir liked to partake in illegal recreational activities with his good friend Edwin Jackson. It is unclear if this played a factor in Jackson being traded prior to the 2009 season. We will let you draw your own conclusions on that one
  14. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jun 16, 2011 -> 01:28 PM) And both happen to play for the Kazahkstan Camelback Couriers....my fantasy keeper team Same here, though they are playing for "Bluth Co. Softball" on my end.
  15. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jun 16, 2011 -> 04:47 PM) Watched the vids, wow how horrible. I didn't realize how crazy it got. Pathetic. It got way the f*** out of control. Seriously, the NHL needs to think twice... if everytime the 'Nucks lose in the Stanley Cup Final this happens, how can you allow them to participate in the Stanley Cup Final? I know, that's a bit out there, but what the f***.
  16. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 16, 2011 -> 03:23 PM) I don't know what KW does if we get close to the deadline and we're both 6 out and still under .500. Yes, we're still technically in the race, but we're playing below .500 ball, and that's got to be close to the breaking point for this salary level. Hmmm, how long is Manny suspended for? He could sign him today and hello September addition!
  17. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 16, 2011 -> 03:29 PM) The PR firm got fired by 2K. Good move.
  18. QUOTE (Greg Hibbard @ Jun 16, 2011 -> 02:42 PM) Here are the facts I'd like to focus on: 1) Interleague is here, and we rake against the NL. Nice, I can't wait to see the Sox blow it in September against the Central. Per the usual.
  19. QUOTE (Real @ Jun 16, 2011 -> 02:36 PM) And the Sox will be back in 3rd place in September when we play divisional opponents 4 times a week Exactly, the White Sox are the b**** of the AL Central.
  20. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 16, 2011 -> 02:21 PM) 7-28 in their last 35 games against the Twins. Say whatever you will about me. This organization needs a clean sweep of the organizational trash from top to bottom. This. It's a bend-over mindset.
  21. I'm so tired of watching this team lose to the f***ing Twins.
  22. QUOTE (Controlled Chaos @ Jun 16, 2011 -> 01:00 PM) here's all the idiots that posted stuff on facebook. http://www.forumvancouver.com/threads/vanc...1305/#post-6151 I sure hope it can be used as evidence.
  23. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Jun 16, 2011 -> 12:51 PM) Phew. Big out, can't give Cuddyer a chance to beat you Michael f***ing Cuddyer
