QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Mar 1, 2011 -> 11:03 AM) Anyone else getting bored with Chicago Code? I have the last two sitting on my DVR (including last night's) and have a feeling they will be deleted rather than watched. Too cheesy.
  3. http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/index.jsp?c_id=cws Link to game is first frame of rotating homepage image.
  4. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 1, 2011 -> 10:34 AM) I feel dumber for just knowing that someone actually debated that on television F*cking ESPN.
  5. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Feb 28, 2011 -> 09:29 PM) Hooray for shorties. Toews attempting to carry the team into the playoffs. What a stud. Yes, I said the same to my buddy last night. The Captain is on fire.
  6. It sure didn't take the Booyah's long to jump on the Knicks bandwagon. Mike & Mike have been debating who is better... Carmelo Anthony or Lebron James for about half an hour. They had "expert" Stuart Scott on who leaned toward Carmelo because of the "way he finishes" and the "way he can hit the 18 foot jumper". Get the f*** out of here, ESPN.
  7. Harry Potter Lord of the Rings Two and a Half Men
  8. D-Rose was straight dealing tonight.
  9. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Feb 28, 2011 -> 04:27 PM) Now he's a guy I'd love to take a chance on. He hasn't exactly been great either in his time but if anything he adds more length and has some upside. Sign me up for this. Where's a Felix scouting report when you need it! Obviously I know he's been somewhat highly touted during his short career as a guy who hasn't put it together yet.
  10. Jordan Henry has a torn ACL, so clearly that's why they made the trade today. I guess you gotta at least be happy with the timing.
  11. QUOTE (danman31 @ Feb 28, 2011 -> 04:06 PM) Apparently the Knicks are buying out Corey Brewer. Would love to have him, even if it means having two Brewers. Odd.
  12. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 28, 2011 -> 03:43 PM) Did you catch the "yo wat up" comment? Did Milledge come into the game?

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Feb 28, 2011 -> 03:25 PM) Maybe if any of my posts were about the movies without seeing them, you would have a point. But when the point of my post is that "I didnt see a lot of the movies because they did not excite me", the entire point is that I didnt see the movies. In my first post I explicitly state which movies I saw, so that there was no confusion that my remarks were not about the actual film, but instead my perception of them. As I said, Ill see them all, just most of them did not make me so excited that I had to spend $10. I can just live with seeing them on the Netflix at $10 unlimited per month. Dude, you called me crazy for saying this was such a strong year for movies, yet you hadn't seen 80% of the best picture nominees. That alone made your post invalid!
  14. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 28, 2011 -> 03:20 PM) I was going to record the video so you could see them bouncing, but it will be on tv later. He looks fat. Yeah, I have the DVR going, I just could not wait. Man-titties had to be posted, and you came through.
  15. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 28, 2011 -> 03:18 PM) Ask and you shall receive. Lotta glare in my place to compensate for, but you get the picture. You are epic. And them be some man-titties.

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Feb 28, 2011 -> 03:08 PM) Its my opinion, I can say that Care Bears is the best movie of all time and that Citizen Kane wasnt worth the reel it was shot on. I dont read other peoples reviews, I try my best not to see a lot of trailers (generally include some sort of spoiler) and I go into every movie with only my own preconceived notions about whether it is going to be good or not. Some times I agree with experts, other times I dont. The only difference is that they get paid for something, that Im willing to give for free, my opinion. Yeah, great story, but when you give your opinion without seeing movies that's when your posts become hogwash.
  17. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Feb 28, 2011 -> 03:11 PM) And seriously, Business as Rasual is a terrible nickname. Especially because it's pronounced ruh-SOOL. No, it is an amazing nickname, and you are a poopie-head.
  18. QUOTE (Allsox @ Feb 28, 2011 -> 03:02 PM) At the time, The Score was paying Mike North 1.1 million or something like that and couldn't afford to sign Rooney to anything more than he was earning. So he fled to the Cardinals and that is why I revel in anything and everything bad that happens to Mike North. So far, I've been laughing pretty hard for the past 3 yrs at that pud Nice story, but the radio broadcasters are paid by the Chicago White Sox, not the Score.
  19. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 28, 2011 -> 03:08 PM) Yes and he looked sloppy fat, man tits bouncing and all. Please utilize your DVR to rewind, snap a photo, and post. You will earn "epic" status.
  20. QUOTE (Real @ Feb 28, 2011 -> 03:06 PM) So many errors in this game, mostly by LAA but still Get it out of your systems now I guess They are playing the Dodgers, silly.
  21. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 28, 2011 -> 03:00 PM) Miggy Cabrera= man titties. How you get that out of shape as a pro athlete at his age is beyond me. QUOTE (Real @ Feb 28, 2011 -> 03:00 PM) Oh my god, Miguel Cabrera looks like he gained 35 pounds of fat Did they cut into a Tigers highlight or something?
  22. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 28, 2011 -> 02:53 PM) Rooney and Stone would have been nice. My Dad is a Cards fan, so we head down to STL a few times a summer. I got to chat Rooney up last year prior to a game and I let him know how much we all miss him. It's kinda neat taking a piss at Busch Stadium and listening to Rooney. So strange whenever I hear "and Pujols hits it deep and it's a GONERRRRRR" or "and that's a Cardinals winner." It makes me sad.
  23. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 28, 2011 -> 02:54 PM) Wow, has Broxton put on about 15 lbs? I can't see him, but he's always been a fatty.

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Feb 28, 2011 -> 02:51 PM) I just was saying that the fact most of them did not get me out to the movies, in my opinion, showed that it was a weaker year. But that really means nothing in terms of film quality. It's up to the user to read reviews, seek out trailers, and decide. Everyone has their own taste, and I don't want to start arguing that, but you won't find many experts or pundits or average movie-goers who didn't think this year was quite exceptional when it came to truly great movies. It, without doubt, blew the 2009/2010 Oscar season out of the water.
  25. QUOTE (Chet Kincaid @ Feb 28, 2011 -> 02:50 PM) The Sox should have never EVER let John Rooney walk. I don't know if it was the Sox or the Score, but that was a big mistake. It was the Sox. Rooney and Farmio was the best booth I've ever had the luck of listening to...
