MLB 10: The Show
QUOTE (kev211 @ Mar 23, 2010 -> 11:12 AM) Ya Joe can you send me the He Gawn mp3, and finding a kiss him goodbye on the organ would be money. Yeah, I too would like the He Gone! mp3. The best I could find was this he gone.

MLB 10: The Show
QUOTE (Kalapse @ Mar 23, 2010 -> 10:32 AM) "he gawn" actually sounds pretty good if you can find a quality copy and that is what they play at the park so if you're going for full realism . . . I need a copy of "kiss him goodbye" played on an organ, it's absolutely vital, the air raid siren isn't doing it for me. Yeah, I guess you make a good point there...

MLB 10: The Show
QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Mar 23, 2010 -> 02:13 AM) I considering doing it for all the players, but I am too lazy. I have these 4 songs in there for the Sox.... Beckham - Your love Home run - "YOU CAN PUT IT ON THE BOOAAARRRRDD....YES!!" Strikeout - "HE GONE!! There is a gooood pitch" Game winner - Sweet Home Chicago I also have some Fox Sports Baseball, ESPN baseball, and TBS Baseball jingles that play in between innings. I don't like the HR/K ideas because it'd sound weird to go from regular commentary to static filled Hawkisms... I've got the following, but will update as needed since it's so easy. Beckham - Your Love Pauly - Harvester of Sorrow AJ - AJ Scratch by Kurtis Blow TCQ comes up to SILENCE per his preference. f***ing guy is hilarious. Alexei comes up to Pobre Diablo by some Spanish dude called Don Omar. Decent rap. ...and the editor is so perfect that Bobby comes in to the correct portion of "Boom". I'll have to add Sweet Home Chicago for a game winner, great idea.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Mar 22, 2010 -> 06:41 PM) I hate you. We're going to have to talk trade. My goal is to have Kershaw in every league I participate in. I'm in love with that man (his talent, of course). I'm always game.

MLB 10: The Show
QUOTE (kev211 @ Mar 22, 2010 -> 11:05 AM) Steve how and where do I get the rosters your using. I dunno, I just went on Sports Connect through MLB 10 and one of the top ones was called Complete+Minors. Just sort alphabetically, if you have to. I have deifnitely figured out hitting. The Sox under my guidance are 10-5, having just routed Jeff Niemann for 9 runs in the first inning alone en route to a 13-6 victory. The runs were well-timed, as Freddy was starting, and did his normally 5.1 IP of 5 ER ball. Dan Hudson has been a freak, so he might be taking that rotation slot soon. Beckham oddly enough has 4 bombs, while Quentin only has 2 (although Q's drawing a lot of walks and has a .445 OBP). PK is feasting as well and Rios has been quite solid. I definitely have my batter's eye figured out.

Overnight Parking near Metra Station
QUOTE (SnB @ Mar 19, 2010 -> 03:36 PM) Hey guys, So I recently got a new gig in Rolling meadows and I live in the city (bucktownish). I don't really know if I could stand sitting on the kennedy for an hour/hour and a half every day so I would much rather take the train to work. I live within walking distance of the metra clybourn station. I really don't use my car in the city and really would only need it to get from the train station to work and back. So my question is: do any of you use those metra stations over there? Do you know if they allow overnight parking? There really isn't much information online. A friend of mine said the palatine station allows overnight parking and that they don't even ticket overnight, so it would be free, any experiences? I've parked at the Palatine station over night and had no issue.

I can't believe I opened this thread. I have seen zero proof that there is a riff between Ozzie and Kenny.

2010 MLB Catch-All Thread
QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Mar 19, 2010 -> 03:44 PM) You say that as if Washington had the cocaine on a platter in the locker room & asked Hamilton if he wanted to get in on some. No, that's actually not how I said it.

2010 MLB Catch-All Thread
I just can't imagine the bulls*** old Ronny W was spewing to Josh Hamilton when he was acquired... crap about believing in him, about being there for him. I can't imagine having a manager so obviously disregard your best player's plight and comeback. I'd have fired him immediately. There's 30 of these jobs out there, and he clearly doesn't take his seriously enough.

MLB 10: The Show
QUOTE (BFirebird @ Mar 19, 2010 -> 09:42 AM) The Complete+Minors that Steve was talking about include them. It also includes Trayce Thompson, Phegley and of all people KW, Jr. Yeah. Jordan Danks was black with cornrows, but that's easily fixable. I made a pretty darn good Danks2 cap, actually. The rosters are fine and dandy and I'm now actually enjoying a franchise.

Andruw Jones spring training mean anything?
QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Mar 18, 2010 -> 01:42 PM) I saw Danks make a perfect throw from home to center. He's just a tremendous athlete altogether. Was he playing catch with Jones?

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 18, 2010 -> 01:19 PM) I really like the arm extension he is getting so far this spring, he looks to be staying back with his hips a bit more than in previous years where he cleared them almost immediately. I'll clear your hips almost immediately.

LOST!!!!
QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 9, 2010 -> 02:51 PM) This "Temple" and the good vs evil stuff makes all the others tension throughout the series worthless. Those people essentially have zero roles at this point, and their evil leader is now a scared nothing in the big picture. So we basically wasted a few seasons focusing on their lives and their struggle? And the time skipping had basically zero meaning as well as the constant? WTF. I couldn't agree more. My wife and I are very much turned off by this season. THIS is how Lost is ending? Random s***? I guess it fits.

Official 2009-2010 NHL Thread
QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 17, 2010 -> 10:04 PM) I think we solved out too many forward problem, Buff should play D, he's very good at it. Somebody missed the breakaway that was a direct result of Buff's D-suckiness. Now, in the general Blackhawks-concern portion of this post: Thank God this is happening now, and not in the playoffs. The Sharks are having similar issues right now as well. That hit on Seabrook was disgusting. Let's not forget that Wiz was retaliating after Seabs hit Perry to the head in an uncalled penalty. However, Wiz left his feat and put his elbow into Seabrook's head. Seabrook did not have the puck, and that hit came with an intent to injure. I'm sure Seabrook is concussed, but hopefully he'll be back sooner rather than later. The refs ignored a disgusting hit on Sopel later in the game, when he was also without the puck and was railroaded from behind that directly led to the game-winning goal. There seems to be a mark out on the Blackhawks, and if the refs aren't going to help, we need to figure something out. Last night's game was a f***ing joke. The NHL needs to better police these guys or else we're going to have some big time problems. We are a team that can be bullied, and that's not good in the playoffs.
